Regarding the egg, what do ppl like for water level. Do you guys like to have water splash in the top half of the egg during your draw. Was it designed for less water?

Has anyone seen a minimum order of 5 or less of these atomizer to 18.8mm adapters on dhgate? My ability to search is hampered by my lack of creative engrish keyword combinations

I'm finding the WOL Torus to be a bit too chuggy for dabbing, at least with my current e-nail setup. Due to the large volume and possibly too small air intake holes on the funnel it requires a fair amount of pull when you hit it to the point I was straining my neck muscles. Worse than the Grenade perc. It's better with less water but then there's no vortex since not enough water is pulled up. Steven's Torus Twin looks like it's a bit smaller can and has bigger holes on the funnel so hopefully that one will turn out better or maybe I just got a dud. If you're on the fence it might be good to wait for reviews first.

I feel the same about my 9" WOL Torus. Very chuggy and doesn't seem to function quite right. I am waiting for Stevens version. He has one on his YouTube that seems to work pretty well.

@blankrider do you know if he'll be releasing this one?

I have the 12" WOL Torus and agree that it is pretty chuggy, but the video of Steven's yet to be released also sounds pretty chuggy. I wouldn't be surprised if Mothership Toruses were chuggy, I think it might just be a product of the design. Obviously though if you spend a $1000+ on a piece you are probably gonna be in denial about it being chuggy or too airy for dabs.

Did you watch the vid? The function looks on par to me. The holes in the drain look better too
In the vid he takes really short quick pulls. Sounds chuggy from the super high water level. Whether dabbing or calling I never take short fast hard pulls like that.

I got the same one for $55 from another seller that only had 2 available. So I guess I won't feel as bad if it doesn't function great.

I agree with @GSH I still think Steven needs to finish the one he started. With the right perc (A non chuggy one) in his original Torus, it should function flawlessly since the perc is closer to the vortex chamber.

Just going to say, in it's current state I think the other Torus clone steven is doing is a better buy, it appears to function better with less chug and more action on the vortex. peace :).

I've put both up for people to compare.

I have an issue with one of the popular sellers, won't mention the name. I received my piece and it has brown stains that will not come out with pbw, simple green, ISO, and everything else imaginable (inside where I can't access with toothbrush) Function is good and piece is well made, but can't get over the brown stains. The seller said I can keep it and will send a new one if I buy another piece from him/her. Any suggestions? The pieces he/she suggested are in the upper $ amount for China glass.

I don't see any problems with naming the vendor .
It's good to offer another perspective , sometimes the vendor slacks off .
They need a reminder of sorts . I've seen good/bad reviews for
CS on Kathy/CCG/sunshinestore/stevenlmz etc .

This ' switch and bait ' tactic has been done before .
It kinda forces your hand to make a 2nd purchase !

One of my pieces had brown/red stains it looked like blood at first... The I washed and torched and rubbed and I couldn't get it of. The piece is awesome though.... But now it has scratch marks in that area.

I wonder if the brown marks come from the rods they use to turn and shape the glass.... (Idk much about about blowing)

Pm me the seller?

My friend had a mothership tourus with this type of stain in it. I forget the name but mothership said it should have never passed qc so they offered to fix for free or give him a new one if it's not possible to fix. I think one of my ccg eggs had a mark like that somewhere but it was very small and I wouldmy complain to the vendor unless it's very unsitely

So, I placed an order for the UFO and got this back in a message...
"My friend,I am producing the second lots, did you have any advice?so that I can improve in the second lots." I don't know if this means he is working on v.2 and is out of stock on v.1, or just that he is making more.

If anyone has something they would like me to say to him, fire away. I DO see that my piece has not yet shipped. I did mention that some showed concern that the MP hole was a bit low.

The UFO is the one I been debating. Not long vaping(flower only). All reports i've heard say it's amazing. And know fuck all about glassware, but looks less fragile where MP is situated. long as functions. If it ain't broke....

The UFO appeals to me for a number of reasons, among them someone said it is the heavy glass like the fc-187. That heaviness should help it handle some bad center of gravity configurations that it's layout and mouthpiece flexibility might encourage. And the easy option for a whip may reduce the tendency I have to hold my glass when I hit it. I will want to find some other MPs out there, I think, but no hurry.

Heh. That is actually what I was thinking. I have wanted to try him out but not having any stem based vapes I've been looking for an opportunity. This or a stem for my next vape may well be it.

My suggestion for the UFO:

I haven't ordered it yet but many are using their own whips for peace of mind, and apparently the whip mouthpiece isn't all that great either.

So how about dropping the price a bit, and just including the standard non-whip mouthpiece and possibly the whip elbow?

Or at least let the buyer decide via a dropdown menu or something on the listing so we can save a bit of $$$ if sourcing our whips from elsewhere :)

I'll be using my JoDa hook (when it's done) with mine. I just need to find a way to get a 18mm male inverted. I'm thinking and 18 male to 18 male dropdown should work but that might just be too much glass. We'll see...

Edit: I doubt dropping the tubing will bring the price down too much. IMO it's CHEAP enough. The next closest price to a piece like this is $150.00. It's already a sweet deal.
