I asked him when originally placing the order to drop the silicone and credit me for it. He said that he would drop the price 5% and send the tubing anyway. He neglected to do the 5% but it's a couple bucks so I don't really care that much. My point is that he doesn't seem to want to offer options for silicone free order.

I suspect I will just toss the silicone when it arrives, tho that isn't very earth friendly.

You can always use it as heat insulation/bumpers for a glass stem or GonG. Neither require you to inhale anything that made contact with the tubing.

I really hope that I hit the lottery with the order I just made.

I just ordered 4 pieces from Steven. The FC-Cake, FC-UFO, Mothership Torus twin, and his Starbucks bubbler. I don't really know anything about glass in general (I only have a D020 that has been a trooper for me), and less so about the last two pieces. I'm hoping the Torus functions close to the videos I've seen on youtube.

I actually ordered this stuff later than I should have, I would have loved to have these pieces by the 14th. Has anyone ever been able to expedite shipping for a reasonable amount of scratch? I'd love to get my pieces a little sooner, but I don't want to lose any build quality due to rush.

Id say ordering 4 at once is a mistake..

Steven shipped all 4 of mine in 1 box I assume to save on shipping, one came extremely smashed.

He sent me a tracking number for a replacment right away, great guy and service.

Id just message him saying send 2 boxes with 2 per box?

I dont know much about glassblowing but the perc is VERY clean in my UFO. Also the whip it came with was nasty, but I use the whip daily that I had for my volcano (silicone food-grade tubing from amazon). But the goodies that come with the whip (mouthpiece and sidearm joint) are very useful depending on the application.

Ill post a pic of my setup later. It goes VXL - CLOUD buddy - fc UFO - silicone whip with glass mouthpiece.

Its awesome cause know I dont need to bend down to hit it, and it removes the awkard position. Kind of making me use my evo a shit ton again.. Let the ABV roll in

Well, the opportunity is passed as my piece shows "Shipped". I wasn't really intending to get more right now, but the potential variability of the FC-UFO drew me in. I think I will try and forget I ordered it for a while...

It should be up in a few days for sale. I'm new to glass (but still buying a ton of dh glass), but was wondering about function of the piece. Visually, it looks nice. Function is where I would like feedback, so I can learn. Thanks.

Favorite vaping setup. Herbie with FC UFO. 18m2m with the vapexhale dry mouthpiece. I do this because I vape standing up (don't need to crouch as much). I really like that flat design of the 18mm water adapter that comes with the UFO. It's perfect for the herbie whip. I guess it's time to retire my ssv tubing.

I received my replacement egg from CCG today. I was really worried that I would get another bad egg but luckily this one is a winner. It still has the 6 hole perc but they are bigger than my first egg and it has notably less drag. It also has a shorter more bent neck which I like a lot better. The joint doesn't have the same problem as my first egg and is fairly straight so I am now content and willing to order from CCG in the future

Is the height around 10.5 inch? They should similar to my first two, which I received after you got your first batch.

first I am producing new batch for FC-UFO:

Ready make 2 kinds:

One same current piece and only add the height of mouthpiece,

another is besides add the height of mouthpiece,we will make 34mm joint,then add a 34-18mm downstem..

The red mark,it is from machine,only put some acetic acid inside,then put one night,,they will be cancled...

any problemspls free contactwith me..

I have a feeling this is going to cost me.

All I was waiting for was the revised v1, now he throws up removable downstem.
Then there are all the options to come.
