Just had my FC-710 order cancelled because Steven didn't ship in time. I would have been happy to wait longer but now I have to wait 2 days to get a refund before I can re-order. Not sure if I will bother tho. Seems to be nothing but hassles with him.

Anyone else have this happen? I think I was about transaction 15.

I've had a tracking number for two days now, but yet to see any actual tracking information connected to it. This is for sure the longest I've ever waited for anything from DHgate to ship... Not sure how to play things at this point. I was also somewhere around the 15th transaction or so.

Unfortunately I had to open a dispute with Steven this morning as well. My dabbacino has been between Shenzhen and my side of the border for a week and a half now. This has never happened before. I tried to be patient but it has gone on too long. Generally it just takes half a day so I don't know. Apparently the truck has been seized to be searched but I fail to see how it could take quite so long. This one may not be his fault but if I had to choose one word to describe Steven's shipping it would be inconsistent. He needs to improve this if he want to be a valued FC vendor imo.

GB-242 from yIngmin waiting for me when I got home and she's a little beauty. Smaller than I expected, but that seems like the normal. Vortex's well. Only problem is a minor flaw w the mouthpiece. Looks like a crack but it's smooth.

Sorry to hear about this guys. I was hoping Steven would get it worked out, but it seems ONLY the squeaky wheel gets the grease. At least as far as an updating usps tracking number :D. I will keep everyone posted , hopefully it is a real # and the piece gets hear in one.....piece.

Well, it is a bummer that the shipping hasn't happened for everyone, but I gotta say in my case I never had to message Steven (or anyone so far about shipping in my 10+ china pieces) and was apparently the first to get shipping notice for some reason....I guess YMMV but I so far I sit back and wait and have decent results.

-FC 710 shipping notice on the 15th

-started tracking on the 18th

-Left China on the 19th

still waiting for it to hit the US, but I'll let y'all know!

Yeah, I've got a tracking number from Steven too.

I didn't ask about my 710 specifically, but I've been in communication with him about some other pieces etc and mentioned I'd ordered it so maybe that helped :shrug:.

I couldn't help myself, I ordered the FC-710 again lol.

I don't mind waiting but I did email Steven and mention that my previous order had been cancelled because he failed to ship in time. I also mentioned I was on this forum in hopes that it might speed up the process this time.

This is his last chance with me. Hopefully it all goes smoothly.

It looks like dhgate is taking over the cheap but sometimes quality water pieces. My next purchase is d020. Is their a second batch (I thought I read they made improvements).? Will it be the same link. I am going to wait on fc710 until I move into my new place.

Second batch? Not quite sure what you're talking about - the OG D020 is a classic - most of us have one and rarely pay attention to it anymore (doesn't mean we don't like them, it means we all have one!).

The only real thing that matters is where you buy the d020 from - there are some vendors that sell knockoffs of it. I suggest you purchase it from Sunshinestore - might pay $5 extra to buy from him, but it's guaranteed to be the right version

Update: This piece in combination with the HT works really well. I think it might be a bit much diffusion with the two of them, but its not harsh at all, gonna try it alone and also starting at a higher temp when using the HT and see if its harsh then. The only thing that was really slightly off was the MP joint, it is not perfectly straight up-and-down, and causes the HT to be noticeably tilted. Other than that this seems like another solid piece to me. well worth the $35 it cost.

man that is fucking legit, just messaged the seller asking when there will be more in stock, i've hit the legit pyrology piece and that appears to function pretty identically for 10 percent of the price i pretty much can't say no. I don't even need a piece like that as i already have smaller pieces for oils and kind of want something bigger to suit the sublimator... but you kind of can't turn down when something like that comes up XD. Also does anyone know of any nice sovereignty knockoffs, i'd like to get something like this

Since I've read a bunch of criticism concerning Stephen, I thought I'd share my acceptable objective experience.

I ordered my FC-187 on December 30. It did not ship until the 10th of January, a slight disappointment after breaking three bongs in December. It arrived at my home in Washington state five days later. Sixteen days total, which I feel is completely acceptable, especially when small international packets from China and Hong Kong could take months several years ago.

The fact that we have this backdoor to wholesale glass is truly amazing. That we have input into the designs produced half way around the world is out of this world unbelievable.

Also, a shout out to the anonymous Chinese bong packaging specialist who came up with the idea of heavy duty bubble wrap on the outside of the box. Fucking genius example of outside the box thinking (my least favorite motivational term). I'd be willing to bet that ten cents worth of Chinese cardboard and bubble wrap is equally effective as the most expensive custom crate for a priceless museum quality fine art sculpture. We all love to hate things about Chinese Commerce, but you gotta admit they are incredibly resourceful and really think through the whole process. I'm pretty sure all the bongs made are designed to fit a specific box shape that fits in groups into specific large boxes which then fit on shipping pallets, etc. All. To maximize how much product can fit in a shipping container.

I ordered on the 16th, it shipped EMS same day and should be here today or Monday.
