Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Lately, I've been vaping with a mirror. I'm just mesmerized by watching the vapor form out of the bubbles. Plus watching the level of vapor volume coming in can be helpful information. I know I'm not doing anything wrong, but I feel weird about it.

This is my GB-189 which is my go to (for now )...wow vape station table is filthy

Me too, I learned about it from J.Pixel. When vaping and observing w/mirror you can see if the perc fires correctly,I thought I had a defective perc until I was able to visually see it in the mirror.But I am like you,I watch it milk up and let it rip, for myself im a visual idiot,things are easier for me when I can watch (yeah buoy, keep the lights on babe) .When vaping its just a hoot for me to watch the whole process of bubbles dancing around full of vapor and the perc stem disappearing as the can gets fogged with heavy blue white vapor.With out a mirror and if vaping in a straight tube or anything that isnt a side car just isnt as much fun IMO with out the mirror......

I'm definitely feeling what you guys are saying about the visual aspect. I love watching the vapor when I get the glass hookah out. It is very enjoyable

My replacement GB-194 got shipped out today for $1 from Yingmin5. Hopefully this one doesn't have a hole

And for anyone who has been on the fence with this one I recommend getting it. I have been using my broken one ever since I got it. I just plug the hole with my finger like it's a carb lol. The pull is very smooth and the quality (besides the hole) is top notch for the price.

I have this same question about the neck. I believe @Mr. Gweilo 420 is the first to receive his either yesterday or today since he lives so close to the vendor, so hopefully he will report in soon. It is his bedtime right now I believe.

I asked Mike Lee (tornado rig vendor) if rig has a bent neck,.....funny his reply "I do not know what you mean here is picture" & since I am a dumb ass when it comes to computers I cant post the pic, but it is a bent neck rig.I am gonna go out on a limb and say if your a Solo vaporist,I dont think it will work as well until you clear the can (older Solo's that have the restricted air path,newer models I am told are supposed to be a lot less restrictive,VAS got me there on the new version,will be ordering one nxt week) But wont stop me from ordering, I do the burn thing from time to time (I know its sacrilegious on a vaporizer site)
and this baby will be just the rig for the occasion

ahh, IMO going back once in a while brother just makes you really appreciate the sweetness of a vaporizer. I try to make it a bit less destructive by attaching a charcoal filter,still I hear ya and the bowl flushing!!

Just pulling your leg there. I just can't, allthough it's just 5 months since I stopped. Even accidental combustion with my vape makes me gag. That said, I also quit the cancer-sticks so there are several factors at work

I have a older SOLO and love it a lot.
113 seal and a PHVES is the perfect set up.

It has to be customize to work well.
The new one would be interesting?
Either way it will take some time to dial in since you came from burning.

I use to love joints however the High sucks. With vaporizing I find the perfect temperature zone.

I wish you success in a healthier option to combustion!

I had a unit that chugged until I increased water and now it purrs!

I agree with Ataxian out of all my China pieces his quality was the best its just a matter of patience with BTOC or maybe the mailing system lol

I haven't seen anything about that one, but I could have missed it. Straight tubes with multiple percs are usually better for combustion. And I definitely wouldn't want that for concentrates. Also, those Ti nails are of questionable quality.

I'm waiting on vids and reviews from fellow Vaporist before buying the tornado, but I think I'll pull the trigger on the 186 this weekend and I'll probably go ahead and get the Double Barrel since I already have a Pistol Gripped Pump LoL Seriously though thats one of Hitmans designs I loved but wouldnt spend for. I love this affordable quality glass it allows me to try different designs for little of nothing and not feel broken when an accident occurs. I plan to have 7 shelves on my walls full by this time next year. I laugh when I hear you guys saying you need to clear out stuff. This is my preference of art and its a little bit of who I am an expression if you will. Im going to be the Photorider of cheap Glass! I have 6 pieces of expensive glass and will never own nor purchase another. If you dont know you just dont know, But I've learned!!

Now that I've been looking in a mirror, I notice that my perc is sitting a bit crooked in the can, it's not flat. Still fires ok, leans a bit, but ok. How's yours?

My perch is mostly flat, with a slight lean rearward.. again, no tornado, but pretty large bubbles for the most part. Probably twice as large as the bubbles created in the 187. No problems white walling this guy regularly.

I have a buddy with a slo-motion camera.. we're going to video the action sometime in the next week or so. I'll post it here when that happens (we're also going to do the 187).

I could be remembering wrong but I thought I read about issues with shipping and communication with BTOC. I want the double barrel but I would be using it with an e-nano. @ataxian did BTOC include adapters like sunshine store? Also does anyone know if I could request a 19mm female?

Ataxian,Thank you!! lost a 1/3 of a lung to CA. Was professional firefighter/medic in a large metro dept and got ill. I dont like burning but sometimes I am with a gnarly bunch of hardcore heads (old 'nam vets) and we ride Harleys and Ive only been able to convert a small handful to not burn and vape instead. But some times I do partake and shouldnt!!
I love my older Solo and was mentioning that some rigs like cyclones, tornado's dont get enough velocity of air to cause the swirling action,but once you lift the gong out you get your warm and fuzzy watching it perform the action of a vortex.But Ive seen them in action when being used as a combustion piece and they rock!!

Joints,mm mmm good back in the day but you are correct, there is a difference to the highs of vaping vs combustion. I think combustion folks are also getting a buzz on from some very ugly gases affiliated with combustion.The vape buzz is 100 % cleaner and IMO nothing can beat the sweet taste of vapor........as Jackie Gleason used to say at the end of his variety show of the 60's: HOW SWEET IT IS!! Enjoy your week end

Yeah I got that one. Pulls nicely but quality was absolute junk. I sold it after a few test runs. The black rim around the base and mouthpiece was so uneven it looked like a 5 year old did it with a black sharpie

I would say spend the $30 on something else. Just my

I have one of those, and it's okay. It's functional, and it's solid. It's perfect if all you're looking is an ultra-cheap oil rig and don't care about the craftmanship of the piece (I say this as it's one of the sloppier Chinese pieces I've purchased). Personally, I think there are better options for a similar price. If you can double your budget, the double barrel recycler mentioned above is a MUCH nicer rig for the price. JMO

I think people say that because of delays and maybe he isnt the quickest on a reply when you want info,but saying that,when this thread was in its infancy AE was the go to place and for the most part it took a month to get your rig.Well being that import being sold locally was outrageously priced, when you saw what you could pay on line from the same peeps that the LHS was gouging ,you waited and you didnt give a fug. Ataxian and myself just order and after about 3 weeks I go and take the tracking # and enter it in the USPS site and see where it is, back then as long as it said it shipped I was OK,a month later you were vaping thru it. Im an old fart so I have learned that some shit aint worth fretting over. Back then if it didnt show, I requested a refund and moved on to another.

Instant gratification is nice but it will cost you a whole lot more from the shyster who will charge you 3-4x more .If ya got, go for it, otherwise while waiting for it, I just use another rig in the collection and after a few rips............pipe I ordered a pipe?, oh yeah that one YMMV

Does the patience needed for BToc's long shipping wait times also apply to their answering questions sent to them through the store messaging feature? The recycler I was interested in has gone up in price, so I'm no longer wanting it, but I'd still like to know the answer to what size it is.
