Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I saw this on that site, and couldn't help but laugh.

$30 "Death" vaporizer:

my friend has something similar to this but not as flashy. literally looks like a gumball machine. its such a POS, it heats up and holds that consistent heat so you have to constantly be hitting it or it burns the herb. imagine using a MFLB that constantly has the battery pressed in until the trench is spent. i just don't have the heart to tell him its a horrible POS...

I'm not a fan of this new trend either. Are all these glassblowers moving from flowers to oil altogether at once perhaps?

We could use them with an adapter of course, but I don't really like using those. It's just another part to clean, another part that can break.

what do you guys think of this (linked earlier)?

https://www.planetvape.ca/black-leaf-8-arm-slitted-tree-perc-bubbler.html

I'm about to grab two of them, but thought I should run it by here first

If you click "view larger image", and scroll to the one furthest to the right, you can see the trees should be made so they go way further down.

When you have trees that aren't in the ideal position, than can throw a whole piece off big time.

However, due to the long mouthpiece neck, I'm not sure that you would get any splashback, so for that price its doable. If the trees were made properly, all the way to the bottom, then you could play around with the water levels a lot easier.

You'd have to pay more than double that for a 8-arm bubbler done to perfection, so its just a question of the value to you.

Here's an example of what it should look like ideally

Thanks guys...I will hold off until I learn more...that's why I brought it here! I sure as fuck don't want TWO subpar bubblers!

can i stick my male joint in there?
yea i realy hate how most of the popular pieces are coming out with mostly male joints, i really wouldn't mind it if they gave you a female-female adapter to go along with it. i went to my local headshop and ask for a female to female and they looked at me like i'm crazy. hahahah

I tell you what... all those Liquid pieces above are very nice. They have a few more on that site... one of these days, I hope to pick up a few. Great prices and if you check the things, like perc placement, they look to be pretty HQ. I looked around for reviews and found a few threads on other forums. The feedback, was definitive positive. Most saying they're as good as the big name brands.... though, you have to take into account bias. Hell, I think my MiO is the best thing since sliced bread.

But, just my opinion... if I was going after anything in this thread, it would be those Liquid bubblers.

This one, is an absolute steal for $135! http://www.usglobalimports.com/product_p/wp-lbb.htm

An EQ cyclone bowl would do the trick ;)

That one has a female joint on the bubbler, and a male joint on the slide.
Basically, the bit that gets smaller towards the end is the male, and the bit that gets larger toward the end is the female.
In other words, the male penetrates the female. ;)

What a guy!
So I've been watching this thread with much interest. I'm new to vaping and just have bought myself a RockZap and after using it a few days I realized that I needed some type of bubbler, but didn't want to drop too much money and this thread has been a huge help. I do have a question; When using a CRZ or similar log vapes what do you use as the stem? I saw the GonG stems on the CRZ site http://aromazap.com/stems/nylon/gngshortstm But didn't like the look of them and wanted to do a little comparison shopping. I tried the Search but didn't know what to call it.

In the mean time I am thinking about ordering this one from earlier in the thread http://www.pipesdaddy.com/product-p/vp-0022.htm

I believe you don't need anything if you get a bubbler with a 14mm GonG connection, the normal CRZ stems should fit those. The CRZ GonG stems are just shorter version from what I gather (can a CRZ owner please confirm this). If you get a 18mm bong you'll need a 18 to 14mm reducer.

I don't think the waterpipe adapter on the bub you posted will mate that well with a CRZ stem.

Its 9" to the tip of the mouthpiece. For $40, its a Hell of a performer. I've dropped all kinds $$$ on extra percs and such trying to bring my beaker to the same level of likeability. Always kept going back to this piece, eventually. Percolation could be better, but the cuts are clean and equal lengths. Durability is pretty good. Not 5mm stuff, but its definitely solid (size and the shape help). Very little drag, not on par with my MiO... but I can't expect that (also have to take into account drag from 2' whip). What you might want to try, to improve the experience, is seed beads (though they do add a bit of drag).

Here's the one and only video I made of it. You can see, my particular one pulls percolation to one side, on the light pull, but can rip some HUGE vapor hits and percs nice on the clear.

If you can hold out, I'd save up for that $135 Liquid Sci Glass bubbler, however. Though, that's easier said than done, my friend.

Hope that helps out with your questions/concerns.

thanks, man. and u mean this? usd135 bubbler http://www.usglobalimports.com/product_p/wp-lbb.htm

it looks very very nice too but compared to the usd40, i don't think i would feel too good spending 3x the cost. and being a glass noob, i'm not sure what the difference would be. I just want to get a not too big "decent" 18mm bubbler without me having to upgrade later (i hope not to get the 'glass-acquiring' disease that some here have :) )

That $135 piece looks nice, I personally think that Circs tend to stack better than trees (and i cant see it being anything but an upgrade over the $40 one [having said that, the $40 one is awesome value]) but I just want to point out that it's pretty big.
16' (I'm assuming to the top If the mouthpiece) is approx 4.5' taller than my möbius bubs, which are a pretty nice size IMO.
I'm afraid the only way I know of to avoid the glass bug is to not like glass...
Ready your wallet ;)
