Broke this one already.
Your smarter than me?
I think that's cute. $300 cute? Not even close. I have no doubt it's high quality, but cheap it is not.
Have Steven knock it off for $25, then we can talk.
This thread is for CHEAP high-quality bubblers...teaser...I want an Arcline Hemisphere Bubbler, from GRAV!!!
Great starter/back-up/daily driver, if on a strict budget it is hard to beat but for just a couple dollars more I would suggest the D-020-d, it is much better.Sporting a basic d-020 right now
You are probably right here. While Steven (stevenlmz79) makes his pieces thicker than most, they are probably not THIS thick. Then again, do they need to be?I don't think you could get it in glass that thick for $25, or even $50.
Their Arcline line of glass is a bit pricy, but looks thicker than anything you could get for much less $$.
$240 is about 5 times what I have spent on any DHgate glass piece and I have several including the FC-187 and the FC-UFO, both from Steven and both very thick. And they have 10-15% off sales from time to time (like right now) where you could get it for under $240.
Most of my DHGate glass is thick and surprisingly well made given the price. None of it has broken in use. The only broken DHGate glass I have had came that way and were replaced by the vendor. I do have one FC 187 who's perc is too high off the floor but it worked and I later replaced the piece with one that was better made when it was on sale for $25.Most of my DHgate (or otherwise sourced) knockoff cheap glass is thin and actually crooked in spots. I'm ready to start saving for decent glass, instead of all this fragile stuff that I'm just going to have to replace eventually anyway.
Get this one @LesPlenty say’s!This is the one to get;

Built like a tank, I dropped mine onto cement from 3 feet and chipped a bit off the base, I now have a spare as I am still using the chipped one after grinding off the sharp bits.

I understand your concern but perhaps this will ease your mind some.Ya know, I like the look of the RattleCan and I think it is a good size, but the placement of the joint out in the air somewhat lacking in support would make it vulnerable to anything with any heft, which something like a Splinter and a mod might have. I don't think it would be right for me, tho it would be perfectly usable with something like a Lotus on a WPA.
You prefer water then? I just ordered the grav spherical pocket bubbler. Did you get Ed's adapter yet? Do you use a whip or extender on your new grav piece? I'm thinking grav sphere + ed's adapter + 19M tip + caldron is going to be sweet. You're asking me to compare apples to oranges.
Everything you listed is all vary different. Plus they are all dry-hitters, which is very different from water.
I've never checked the temperature of the water. Whatever comes out of the tap.
I do prefer room-temp water over cold or hot water.
Gorgeous!I didn't buy the second one till the first one broke.

I have run 2x Tera's at once from my Rattle Can and quite often a Plenty, it is not a fragile joint. I said earlier I dropped mine from 3 feet onto concrete that chipped the base, as it landed on the joint side, blew my Cloud Buddy (claisen adapter) to pieces but the joint remained unharmed.somewhat lacking in support

I certainly get why people buy much more expensive glass than I do, and why some of the original designs from the original artists are worth the expense (to them), but I am not buying art, I am buying features, and they don't have to cost so much. While I would love to have an original MotherShip piece (like I would love to own a real Picasso) short of a lottery win I would never buy one.
That is why when looking for glass I hang out here, in the CHEAP HIGH QUALITY thread and expect to find most pieces well under $100.
Still a nice looking rig, if you can drop that sort of money on a consumable item without worry...I say get it...you only live once.My apologies. Maybe I made a bad choice
I still like it though.
I have not seen the RC in person and know nothing about it's quality of construction other that it being a Steven piece so likely well built and heavier glass. I don't doubt that it is a solid choice or durable. I am merely saying that I TEND to buy pieces where the joint is directly over the can like D020, and FC-187 and FC UFO and D022 just because they are sturdier and less likely to tip. I do have other pieces that are not designed like that, like my vapecycler, but I generally go that way.I have run 2x Tera's at once from my Rattle Can and quite often a Plenty, it is not a fragile joint. I said earlier I dropped mine from 3 feet onto concrete that chipped the base, as it landed on the joint side, blew my Cloud Buddy (claisen adapter) to pieces but the joint remained unharmed.
And I fully agree.I do not own this one, just saying you can get thick glass bongs on DHGate if you look.
Personally I think the Arcline is beautiful, it's just way out of my price range. The most expensive piece I have even bought was just north of half of that, and it was a recycler so had some action.I still like it though.
Sometimes, I do not like using any restrictive vape (Vapcap,Arizer Air) with any of my Matrix percs because they exacerbate the problem, they are best used in something like a RC or D020.different Vape different bong right .
Always makes me laugh when people call tools Art, cheap bubbler=tool, the arty farty stuff is for the display cabinet, I would consider all scientific glass a tool, even the Mobius stuff, no dragons wings to chip or aliens to probe you.I guess that's just the thing about art.
Just different definitions of art.
Nothing wrong with that though.
Is what it is.
