that is odd. a review on one of them the person was pretty upset after receiving theirs andnseeing it was fixed.

thanks for the reply, may have to reach out to grav to confirm. would hate to get a piece and then be stuck.

im not in the immediate market, but that upright one isnt to bad a ptice.

And I fully agree.

Personally I think the Arcline is beautiful, it's just way out of my price range. The most expensive piece I have even bought was just north of half of that, and it was a recycler so had some action.

It has a 14mm GonG, and comes with this 14mm slide:

So yes, it works with vapes just like any other glass piece with a 14mm GonG connection.

Wanted to ask though. It seems like the slide is built in, and would only really be usable for combustion. Does that seem right or am i missing something?

Some of the reviews seem to confirm it is nonremovable so limits how you can use the glass.

The upright does not appear to have a removable bowl. It is not like the Hemisphere I posted about...I repeat, it does not have a removable bowl!

It is combustion only. Do not buy for using with vaporizers.

Congratulations on your promotion! For sure rewarding yourself with something special means following your hearts desire. A beautiful piece of glass is a wonderful thing to splash out on.

I occasionally have gotten a small customs fee when ordering from DHGate and AliBaba and even ebay, but it is only occasionally and I haven't been able to figure out on what basis I get the charge. It has always been small enough that it wasn't important enough for me to source it.

I think I may have even seen one from Amazon...

I just went back in my CC bill and found one. It was an AliExpress order from February, which must have been my HCigar mod. The item price was about $57 and there was an additional "Foreign Transaction Fee" as a separate transaction of $1.70.

How does it work? Do they send you something in the mail with instructions on how to pay the extra fee before they'll release it from customs?

Was it immediate, or some days after the original transaction?

No problem. It has the same transaction date as the sale, so it is more likely to be a currency conversion fee than customs.

This is the same kind of transaction I have seen before so I probably am not getting any customs charges.

Yes that is what you were charged later on your CC. Any customs fees need to be paid prior to the delivery giving it to you.

Also....cybrguy I was not sure, but are you in USA?

I kinda remember Ralph from Tubo telling me once, Americans don't pay custom fees unless the value of their order is above something like $800
