Cheap High Quality Bubbler

^Thanks YL, I had a feeling it was done. I'm going to carefully alcohol clean it one last time to collect the goods and retire it as an emergency back up. I haven't been torching on it for the last couple weeks, my friend let me borrow his dnail and I'm thinking that I probably should have got a drop down first. Even when I was torching I had an extra male/male joint as a buffer to be safe (left it on for the dnail too).

Next round I think I'll just go with the tried and true fab egg

I personally like a drop down on just about any type of rig I've ever used. It can be a bit annoying to get used to at first, but the benefits of having the nail on a piece of glass that isn't your rig is just such a huge benefit that it outweighs the negatives, which are few. I don't dab anymore, but when I did I really liked my straight fab from steven. A little pricy but VERY thick and sturdy glass, and very good function and flavor. The joint on it is also fairly high meaning a drop down would work well. The fab eggs are cool but not my preferred draw for the most part, I like a faster rip.

Good to hear - that's such a nice piece, a real shame to watch it come apart instead of using it...props to Steven for coming thru for you!

...and fingers crossed on your replacement!
I dont think that was a good result. He received a faulty product and now needs to buy a second possibly faulty product to get a replacement for the first. No that would not sit well with me.

Just got my rattle can and the matrix barrel recycler from stevenmlz...very happy with both pieces, shipping (that is when he finally shipped) was very fast.

For those of you still awaiting a rattle can or diffusion pump model, remind yourself of the glass ball...I almost thaught shit another broken piece of glass being delivered....

I haven't used much glass over the last 30 years. there are so many different types to choose from, where can I educate myself before making a purchase ?
to be used with a Grasshopper and Vapman, possibly Aromed and Herbalaire.
Thx

I had a D020-W for a while. It was nice, except the mouthpiece made it a pain to clean.

The D020-W had a more simple matrix perc than the GB-187-S (some called it a 'tire perc' instead of a true matrix perc) - in either case the diffusion of the D020-W was slightly less than the GB-187-S.

Overall I feel like the build quality and diffusion is better on the GB-187-S over the D020-W, although they are both nice pieces. I still suggest going for the GB-187-S. I've had one for over a year now and love it

Would this nectar collector also function as a hydratube for the VapeXhale Cloud EVO? It features a joint like the recylcer made by sunshinestore. How well do nectar collectors prevent water from falling down the female joint?

Looks like it would work to me. It doesn't have the usual style bottom but it works just the same. Water will not come out the bottom unless it is over filled.

A few people were looking for small 14mm female bubblers for cheap a while back so I went on the hunt. I found a little American made glass company, Kraze, selling little bubblers on ebay for $40. I offered him $20 and his listing was set to accept anything $20 or over. I had ebay bucks to spend so I went ahead and bought it.
It took about a week to come in. It isn't the thickest glass but it is pretty well made for the money and the little showerhead perk is really nice! The downstem is signed which is also a nice touch that you won't find on a $20 Chinese bubb.
I first used it for a few dabs. Really nice and smooth. Full flavor from the ultra low water required. Not bad at all for a piece no bigger than a Purr travel bubbler. Then I used it for flower and was really surprised at the pretty well cooled vapor despite it's tiny can size. Hell for free ebay bucks or $20 either way you can't really go wrong. If you are looking for a new 14mm female hand held bubbler for $20 check out http://www.ebay.com/itm/162028363693?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

He lists them every few days and his last few just sold out (to my FC friends no doubt lol), I really would have been happy with anything so this is awesome lol.

Ive been testing out my new CCG incycler rig for 2 weeks now & thoroughly enjoying every minute. I love the design and it's built solid (no thin spots). My only bitch is that the incycler function isn't as pronounced as in the video but still works better than other incyclers I've bought from other vendors. I've also been using adapters on my rigs in order to protect the joint connections. I've seen some posts where stress cracks were spotted and I figuered it's easier to replace a $9 adapter as opposed to a $50 glass rig. Also I contacted CCG and requested no label on the bottom side and they were happy to comply. Overall another quality rig from CCG and can't wait to see their next designs.

I DO have the FC-Mouthpiece! I ordered the Cloud Evo Last week and have it standing by waiting. Can't wait to try the Evo out with it!
The perc is the same showerhead design just a bit smaller.

I remember some people saying that the joint was too deep to seal on the Evo with some of the 18mm nectar collectors, that might have been the reason Sunshinestore re-released the "Hydratube" labeled version?

I would go with the Sunshinestore version since I know you want it for the Evo, But that one actually looks like it might work.

Any word on new hydra tubes in the works ? I think I had seen something a few pages back.

The newer one I submitted to SsS was rejected for being too close to Stevens FC-mp. If anyone cares to pick up the ball please do, I'm a little busy with other work at the moment.

Great review, I've got a clear one shipping out soon that I'm looking forward to trying out.

Since I have a lot of pieces what I do is use a dropdown with a female 14mm joint so I can easily move it between my male 14mm pieces or female pieces with adapters. I've still gotten a couple bases stuck to dropdowns but they're still usable since you can remove the e-nail head for cleaning.

I'm the same way, use drop downs on almost everything. Just for the sake of making cleaning much more reasonable also. Not to mention the growing number of pieces with white colouring.

Yeah, that was my only concern as well. I tend to use as little water as possible in all my glassware. Typically I fill the piece until the diffuser is barely covered. A few days ago, something inspired me to watch CCG's demo video again. I noticed that they filled their Wake 'n Bake quite a bit more than I did. When I filled mine to the disc (what's it called?) that's about a half inch above the logo in the photo, my vortex was every bit as present as the one in the video. Yay. :)

Tagging @Monsoon to make sure he sees this for when his W'nB arrives.
