I spent $130 on my Custom Creations Ratchet bubbler. It's got a 14mm Dewaar joint and is a tough little guy. Very clean work with absolutely no flaws that I can find. I recommend it.

I've been pretty interested in that bubbler. I saw thedablab carrying them and i just wasn't sure about the quality for the price. How are you liking it so far?

Love it. It is solid as hell so it's not bad for travel. Everything is reinforced so that is nice. The perc fires fantastically and needs very little water. Taste is not washed out, there is no drag, and very little chug due to the small amount of water. At first, I was using it with my Solo and Pax because it is nice and compact, but then I started using it strictly for dabs. It works very well with either a vape or a nail. As I said, it is great quality and very robust.
You pretty much sold me on that one. Happy to see someone excited about a piece

I think I've put this video up in this thread before. My coffee table is not even close to level so you can see that only the back half of the perc is firing. On a level surface the entire perk fires off.

It doesn't need to be 14mm. You can get a low-profile 18-to-14 reducer for about US$10, which means you can buy a more versatile 18mm piece, pay an extra ten for the ability to shrink the hole without adding significant height to the input, and then connect anything you want to that piece, 18 or 14mm.
If you want something similar size and shape to the Snakster but a little better and a little more expensive, the "Vapor Glass Bubbler", also at Pipesdaddy, is really popular. It's $39.95, so about $50 with a 14mm adaptor added. For that you get a six-canted-slot circ and removable mouthpiece, plus an 18mm whip adapter to connect it to a whip vape. Oh, and I'm pretty sure the free US shipping on scientific glass sale is still going.
(The pics on the PD site are out of date, BTW. It now has less of a flare on the base, a shorter can, and a much improved perc design. It's a great compact unit, and packs away to almost nothing when you take the mouthpiece off.)

I've been eyeing this lately. I love small pieces, i'm pretty tempted to pull the the trigger on this mini recycler. Not exactly insanely cheap at $150, but won't break the bank.

basically looks like this, but blue and the base and top are darker blue
the drag was a little heavier than expected, but dry it does a great job.
also by adding a couple extra drops of NACE i was able to drop the water level a bit more.
CON - it looked like the neck was bent slightly in the pics (to me anyway) and it wasn't, it is straight, and the turbine slits def. look smaller than in the other pics (closer to this pic), contributing to drag.
PRO - can be used w/ just ice for herb and/or oil and does a great job on it's own.
and it was only $120 w/next to bomb proof packing!
CON - they were only communicative when they wanted to be (which was next to never) and they took way longer to ship than they said.

They haven't just added/raised the shipping now; the base prices on those AliExpress bubbs have also gone up from $20 and $18 to $32 and $25. Congrats early adopters, the rest of us snost and lost. :/
Probably due to a spike in sales thanks to this site, too, since none of their many other listings seem to have changed in price over the same period.
