Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Really interesting store though. Some of the prices are ridiculous for Chinese glass imo. I dont think anyone has placed an order with these guys yet. If they can get the prices down there may be some potential.
What I'm hoping for is a moderately priced torch tube, it isn't extremely hard to design, but the fact that one was made in china means it can be replicated by others (hopefully). Personally I'd like to see a couple torch tubes moderately priced, but there are so many good pieces coming up like the diffy pump and mini pillar that I think my checkbook will be full.

I sent them a message a week or 2 ago that basically went along the lines of'
"I like your items but the price is very high.
would you accept $xxx for items xyz"

Their reply was along the lines of
"Single orders do not get the wholesale price"

So...

Sometimes I get the feeling certain vendors just list crazy prices to try their luck. If people start ordering then they got it right! Seriously though that Starbucks style recycler that was listed at $721.68 is just ridiculous. I mean that is a high end piece anywhere in the world at that price. What sucker is going to pay that from China?? lol

for a lot of 12 of them maybe
It still looks pretty 90' to me...
Crude ASCII time:
Most china recyclers attach the uptake like this:
O-
But they should be more like this:
O^
O~

Basically, AFAIK, if you were to measure the angle formed by the uptake tube and the funnel, most current china stuff you'd get pretty close to 90' for both angles.
Ideally you want the difference between those 2 angles to be as great as possible...

It doesn't so much matter if there is a bend in the uptake tube, just the angles it forms with the funnel...

I'll draw up a crude sketch in paint later tonight to explain because reading this back I doubt it make a heap of sense

Thanks for all the info in this thread guys and gals!

Just bought my first piece of glass ever. A D020-x from Sunshinestore.

Really looking forward to trying it. Never even seen a bubler before. All we have here is regular glass waterbongs.

True. Before vaping I was mainly into the spliffs, so my general knowledge of glass is shit.

But considering grown men still smoke coke bottle bongs with tin foil bowls in this country, I wouldn't say that bubblers are very normal yet.

It seems a lot of people are getting more conscious though, don't you think?

@NorVape I usually sell my glass to friends when I'm getting tired of it, so my friends at least has a better knowledge of glass than the average Norwegian.

I haven't seen a cokebottle-bong in a long while now, but i know that's what most people use. I personally haven't smoked out of anything but glass since about 2007 when i got my first piece of glass, but before then i was all about acrylic bongs and corncob pipes in soda bottles..

That listing actually gives choices for different pieces at different prices. The one pictured by @grokit is $27.28

This is what is 11.59 I think the price might be an error so get it for this crazy deal price while you can

That sure does seem like a crazy deal! I used the $10 off $11 order coupon I got a few days ago and got the cake rig for $1.54 with free shipping!

Tracking just updated on my Bangers from Kathy, looks like my items arrived at UK customs a couple days ago but I'm in Canada. Has this happened to anyone else?

Try looking it up on the CanadaPost website. If you get an error it was probably sent to the wrong country.

Awesome, congrats. I have been using my d020-X since I got it and it has become my new favorite. And sunshinestore is my go to glass shop. You won't be disappointed with either.

I posted about that bubbler here if you want to see a video> http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/cheap-high-quality-bubbler.5255/page-533#post-713026

I checked earlier and it said the tracking # was invalid, checked again now and the parcel is in Mississauga. I'm guessing China Post tracking is far from accurate as it still shows that it is in the UK. All my other items sent Epacket showed up on Canada Post tracking a day or two after being shipped, this one took close to 20 days.

Old school burner, noobie vaper, so um help me out here. Why would I want an ash catcher for vaping?

In regards to the Chinese postal service, their tracking is only really good for telling you when it was sent out (and only sometimes at that lol). Location data is almost always behind or otherwise inaccurate. Once you order from a seller, you can check the tracking info, calculate how long it took to arrive after a certain point, and hen use that for future estimations. Things usually go through the same stops from the same sellers since they are coming from the same location.

2.5 weeks after dispatching the sorting center is a decent estimate for it to get to the USA. Possibly less, but possibly more time too.

You don't need one at all, but it can provide extra percolation/cooling if you want that.

Hey guys,

I'm getting my first apartment coming up this week and I'm looking for a nice water pipe to pair with my dbv.

Does anyone have suggestions as to something that works specifically well with the dbv or other whip style vapes?

This one looked pretty cool. Has anyone picked this up before?

I'm looking to save some money over my local headshops so something cheap would be the best.

Thanks for your help

Almost there...
The FC-187 has landed!!
Looks pretty clean, perc is nice and cleanly cut although at a slight angle.
Some odd kinks in the part just above the perc but not too bad.
Mouthpiece i would have preferred to be slightly more angled up. If i have a free flowing vape like my MiniVap and i haul on it, i get splash up the mouthpiece. Not bad though and i just have to go a bit easier!

She purrs like a kitten though!!!
Very sweet!!

For $40 delivered to my door, an excellent purchase!
Thanks to everyone that had some input in it's manufacture!!

Going to have to run the vape gauntlet through her, all for science of course!:science:

EDIT:
Verbalizer whitewalls this sucker with ease!!
Yee Haaa!!!

This is a bit off topic for the thread, but simply put - an ash catcher is extremely versatile:
- Increase diffusion when connected to a large bubbler (multiple chambers for added diffusion) - I do this when vaping reclaim - taste is horrible so more diffusion is preferred to smooth it out
- small bubbler - when paired with a mouthpiece (like a j-hook) or a whip - you can make a tiny low-volume small diffusion rigs for a smaller vape (like my Lotus vape)

Typically you don't really need many ash-catchers in your collection, but it may be good to have one or two for fun if you have a bad case of GAS :science:
