Hey everyone. I told one of my combustion friends about DHgate and he ordered a piece. It arrived today. It is one that I don't think anyone here has reviewed so I figured that I would post it.

They sent him a blue version and it actually looks pretty good in person. My picture came out dark and shitty.

This tube functions pretty well. We smoked a few bowls out of it tonight. It stacks bubbles nicely and the turbine is an amazing splash guard. It is pretty much impossible to get your lips wet. It has OK flavor and decent cooling. I feel like it would provide massive vape hits. It rips pretty hard and has solid construction. Anyone looking for a bigger piece might want to give this a try

I'm a sucker for a matrix perc, its been calling me over and over...
But that mouthpiece just looks stupid IMO...

I know someone here picked one up, said it would be better for combustion (though I honestly don't really get what that means...)

Also, kathys one comes with a TI nail, sunshines one only comes with a Glass nail.

I've just bought the one from Kathy using the coupon. I plan on using it for the very rare times I need to combust.

I got the YQ-42 from Kathy recently and it is definitely worth the money.

I've just tried it and I like it a lot. Good for flavor since there is little diffusion, and great for using it as a "portable" bubbler while walking around the house.
Might become my travel piece as well. I bought the hydratube knockoff as a travel piece, but I don't really like it.

Also, it's $17 shipped...

You "can" use one of the stock stem with a bit of tubing/diy magic to connect it to the bubbler, but the easy and practical way is to purchase either a GonG from PlanetVape (out of stock most of the time) or from the fellow glassblowers of FC, or a WonG (from @Ed's TnT).

B of A contacted me this morning to tell me that my debit card had been used fraudulently this morning 6 times.

It is too much of a coincidence that this happened right after DHgate approved the refund of my transaction with Kathy, and now that my card has been cancelled by B of A to stop any more fraud, DHgate won't be able to deposit the money back in the 10 to 15 days window they gave me.

I have have had a lot of transactions with DHgate over the years and this has happened twice, something that makes me suspicious of them after something goes sour.

Now I have to contact DHgate to see if I can recover my funds any other way.

It seems my case is an isolated one, so good luck to the rest of you.

Its says it all,

I'm sad and angry with myself, "never change the water while under the influence" I promised myself one day!!! Duhhhh

Last night I broke my sweet GB187...knocked the neck against the sink's tap!!

But today I thought I really do not want to use this solet's see if I can save some of the bacon somewhat so I did this little experiement.

Took an old broken bong, cut the neck with a dremel and a diamond blade, did a hole in the neck with the dremel and some tool, glued it with a glue gun (I know it looks shit but it worked on my first go so I wasn't going to worry quite yet about the appearance of the glue not been evenly spread ), and closed the bottom bit with clean film and masking tape. I could have found something better to glue the parts together and a better method to seal the bottom but I was too eager to do it all today with what I had at home...and give it a good shot...

Well the verdict: so so pleased!

But it has now become a heaver hitter; with the neck been so wide (40mm) and so tall it literally adds another chamber and since it has almost no drag you need some good lungs to ride that beast.

so i went to buy the YQ-42 from kathy but then canceled the order before payment to see if she had 18 to 14 reducers to add to my order. unfortunately this caused me to lose my coupon which kinda sucked. but i decided to get it anyway but through sunshine. i payed 6 dollars more than i would have if i had the coupon but i get it from a more reliable seller and probably much quicker so i dont mind. i think the d022 i ordered over the weekend and yq-42 will work for me. im not even craving the gb187 any more, i have bubbler and a matrix and thats more than enough for me.

I ordered from Sunshinestore to Manitoba recently and it took closer to 14-15 days. Also it was over a week I think between it saying that it had left China before it had arrived in BC and the tracking updated. So don't worry.

Decided to skip on yingmin's fritted piece and just ordered a D022 + D020-2w with a female adapter from sunshinestore using the coupon. I paid with my card and within 5 minutes it was confirmed and marked as shipped. Was a bit bored of the restricted draw on my d020d, gonna be spoilt for choice next week.

@Rrose Selavy: The YQ-42 is a great piece. I bought mine from sunshinestore though. The bubbling from the percolating stacks nicely. What dome/setup are you using for yours. Mine has an adapter (for more air) with a daisy domeless on top (of my 9 rigs, like 4 of them have the daisy domeless lol).
