Well I guess I can count myself lucky to have picked up a D022. I did fix the wobbly joint/downstem with some teflon tape, that seemes to not only keeps it from rocking back and forth, it seals it well, and now it won't just pop loose by accident with out using some force, so it feels much more stable. I don't think I need to remove the downstem in order to get a good cleaning anyway. Sorry to those who missed out, it's a real shame this model is no longer available. I really enjoy dabbing with it, and it also works great with the lotus and sublimator.

I am still in the middle of that kathy dispute, and hope it will resolve soon. I am not trying to bash kathy, I have received some good glass from them early on, but the last 3 have been sent damaged. The pinholes in the welds, I can understand being overlooked, I only noticed them after putting it to use, but the melted/warped 10mm joint was a very visible flaw and they just tossed it in there anyway, and now want to try to make me pay more to get it corrected which isn't cool. I am just hoping DHgate gets my back and accepts my dispute. I do think this is my last Kathy purchase though. I just don't want to experience this again.

I am really enjoying the D020-2-W sidecar honeycomb/turbine piece.... it is slick, hits smooth, easy to watch the action, and feels pretty solid, thick glass, clean welds, by far one of my favorite. I'm very happy with that purchase. I do agree that the matrix style perc in a sidecar design would be super sweet.

We had a really good festival, got pretty dabbed out, I took the infamous bub for my vapes, but just ended up dabbing out of the honeycomb perc bub I got from aliex most of the time, which was my first china purchase. It took a couple of tumbles and didn't have any issues, and offered a nice smooth hit. Great choice for camping, not sure if it is available anymore, I could not find it listed.
Also got to bling up my torch, we had a "bling your thing" table with all kinds of stuff to glue onto other stuff...

Apologies for taking so long to post this, and apologies for the not-so-great video (and dirty rig--it happens fast!!). Here's the little pendant rig I recently received from Kathy Hu with a HE Triniti nail. At first I was using it with the dome it came with and a 10mm quartz cup nail, but due to the small opening on the dome and the even smaller cup on the nail, I felt like I had to thread a needle just to take a dab, and it could only handle very small dabs. The Triniti nail turns it into a pretty powerful little rig.

Four hole diffuser. I requested and received pink, so unless I was very lucky, Kathy seems to honor requests. I am VERY happy with this purchase. There is a small "bump" of glass on the main part of the rig, but that's the only imperfection I've seen. Functionally it's solid, with zero splashback.

Our boy Sunshine is always shining. I ordered a PNWT k.o. and a double set of 18fm>18fm adapters. Mind you he was my last order prior to him 2 weeks before was my 3 vortex disc A.C. and 2 days before that a bubb from cleanclearglass. Being sunshine was my last order I figured it would show up last, NOPE got em today and the others are stuck in limbo (says Bejing sorting cntr.) Wonder why Mike does have the edge.Coming from China I understand the west coast of US will get their approx a week earlier than here on the east coast,but living in south FL ,we are the red headed step child of getting goods coming from CH (you can add a week to 10 days more due to my super south east location) in a timely manner UNLESS M.Lee is doing the shipping. . .

Makes no sense as to why his shit flys thru and most of the others are as fast as a snail moving on a razor blade's edge :shrug: Hale the SUNSHINE STORE for dependable,trustworthy,expedited business :rockon: Mike Lee you rock!!

BTW I posted this by accident in the Cory Glass Designs ,JIC you see it there in a quote,got baked early this AM and kept on baking , been pouring here so I figured ,WHY NOT:freak:

Wine cork and Teflon tape will make a stop until you get a proper one! You know this already however I did the same thing!

I say buy it anyways. Stoppers dont seem to go for less than $9 so you might as well have a spare y/claisen adapter. I just received mine, stopper is awesome; y adapter is not perfect (male adapter is not in the middle of the y), but seems to function well.

I think this is technically a claisen. I like the layout. It was only a buck less than your combo... :(

I have this claisen in 18mm - same brand and everything. I actually like this shape - I keep the vaporizer on the right female joint for better stability (center of gravity). I've found this design creates a high pressure area below the stopper and the vapor rarely fills to the stopper. I actually really like when I'm milking the bubbler and the vapor dances in the middle of the claisen

The glass is a bit on the thin side, but I'm not complaining for the price

I've purchased mostly adapters there. And a glass plug that came in the wrong size and they wouldn't replace.

Yeah, but notice on the vid that the vortex action is only at the start and serves no bubbler function until it stops spinning, and then it only gives a very narrow column of diffusion which seems to me to be of very limited benefit. Mostly show & little go. :2c::2c::)

Most Turbines don't have the hollowfoot base that feeds water into the perc instead of bubbling. Like other's have said, almost no percolation, sacrificing form for function.

I can do the same thing with two 2-liters taped together.

True on all counts. The D020-Q does a "true," although less effective vortex. But it is so worth it when friends see it for the first time. It also tends to give massive hits, which can be a plus.

I also have the GB-189 and Do20-2-W, and they don't really create any visible turbine action.

Do they diffuse better? Yes. Are they smoother? Yes. Do people ask to try them first? No.

They are all great pieces for the price, but for the laugh factor, the Do20-Q is my unseated champion.

Going to go hit it now in fact, followed up by one of its smoother, more efficient cousins.

I like the standard water pipe or bubbler fitted with a ash collector that tornadoes or stacks.

Removable mouthpieces are cool because you can fit it the way you like.

The D020-Q Would be fun to collect however allie express it too difficult to set up an account so I just stay with dhgate because it's easier.

Too bad the D020-Q is not available on dhgate?
