I think the concern expressed here about the D021 is the birdcage goes too high, if you cover with water, looks like you'll suck it right up the mouthpiece.

The draw is really smooth.
I use the LOTUS with the "TKO".
However I will use the LOTUS with the D022 as I need to test it out.

So far they all work really well.

I have some other stuff coming.
However I must be missing stuff?

@lazylathe has a new piece I don't even know about?

Thanks! That is an extremely valid point. I didn't even consider the functional difference, which is important! I was looking at the structural integrity. A mix of both is key! Ha

Hey Ataxian!

I have the same one @PoopMachine recommended!
A bit more expensive than the cheaper Chinese ones but this has become my favourite piece overnight!!

Very little drag and diffusion!
Hits like a freight train!

I was thinking of getting some more glass but this has cured me!
I do have a D-020 on the way so it will be interesting to compare all of them!

If you like the overall design of the D021, you might like the G18, it looks like a lot more height above the perc, plus the glass looks thicker at the mouthpiece. Or you could wait however many months it takes Mike to put the birdcage in the D020-D.

Behind? You? Ha! Your way ahead my friend! I'm liking the TKO the most out of all my China pieces. Try it with the LSV it will blow your doors off!

hey all, just to keep you guys updated my order is at this stage on the tracking "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" which I guess means they are collecting a bunch of different orders and will ship it by plane to the U.S.. At least that's what I'm hoping lol

Consolidate a container then ship.
It has taken approximately 2 weeks from time of order until received items.

Sometimes longer!

Ok so poking around the DH glass vendors I was on the Collinss store, he strangely has the D020 listed multiple times on his store (not sure if the real thing or the 5 slit junk knockoff), sometimes with the dome/nail/bowl, sometimes not. ONE of his listings for it says "Wholesale - 2014 HOT 18.8mm joints size glass pipes bong oil dome bubbler QB0089 AAA"

So he knows it's a "HOT" item, because of us here certainly. I wonder if these guys are all the same vendor, or friends that share info or some other connection. :hmm:

My guess would be they keep a watch on others pages to see what the big sellers are. I thought earlier in this thread someone posted an image of Sunshinestore's glass blowing "factory".

quality wise, i can't recommend these.
all parts are very crooked build. the 14mm connector is not centered and you need to fill it very high, because of the big slits, so yes, you will suck in water, most likely.

but still, it's a good piece for the very few bucks and the glass seems even more thick than the f-bomb.

overall quality sucks, though

6 days since placing my order and it's here!

Can't tell you guys how happy I am with sunshinestore. Never thought ordering from China would be this easy! I am getting WAY more stoked to receive my YQ42 now that I've got the D020 in my hands. This is a great bubbler! So smooth, clears crazy quick, and it's just the perfect size.

Also for anyone interested, the titanium nail looks really nice as well and fits the D020 perfectly. I don't have a torch, but when I get one I'll post back and let you guys know how it goes.

THANK YOU AGAIN to all the brave soldiers who ordered first and risked sending their cash. I would never have ordered if it weren't for all you.

Phew! Glad it made it in one piece! Sorry the quality isn't up to your standards. the splash guard on mine was the most crooked of the bunch, but the performance seems sufficient to me (as long as I don't draw extremely hard). I guess I never used a true PNWT to compare.

Shame they don't sell them 1 at a time, so more people could buy them cheaper, but oh well, this thread isn't called cheap glass for nothing!

@Ratchett all good. it was an experiment for me and i like to have a backup tube, since i can't imagine vaping without one of these things anymore.
i don't regret jumping in on your group buy, but i'm also not impressed. that's it. i've got what i've paid for, i guess

You always have the creature comforts of life!

I just had a bowl of YODA (100% INDICA) in a LSV using a D022 with a CAISEN, ASH COLLECTOR. Just the D022 by it's self was best!

I had a PNWT and I sold it right away.
I never sell my stuff usally. I think the cheap glass is the best way to learn and see what you like first.

The PNWT style is a waste of money regardless of who makes it!
The design is flawed!

Some might like it and I should of kept my mouth shut!

BONG' s to me are gross!
Water pipes and bubblers with smaller mouth pieces are my preference.
I would never feel comfortable using CANNABIS in public.
For some people they may find the PNWT or a small portable hydro tubes to fit there life style. I am sorry to voice my assessment which is more of a personal opinion.

I never found an appeal to the Hydro Tubes. They look real nice but I feel they are somewhat more limited in use vs a bubbler.

Just curious, why is it you prefer a hydro tube? I've never had the pleasure of trying one.

So my D020-D has arrived in the states, should be here early next week. Would be great if it made it tomorrow, 1 day early for Easter 4/20, :brow:

first of all the airflow is much better, especially with the solo! probably because of the little amount of water and the little volume?! that is the main reason, i guess.
i have to pull really hard on my bong and so my lung volume is spent much quicker, therefore i can pull bigger clouds with the tube!

and i never take my water pipe anywhere, but i can simply put a hydro tube in my bag and share it with friends.

generally, i prefer vaping with water cooling, since i actually have to cough a lot without
