If people just want a claisen to use as a handle for clearing the Lotus, why not just get a handle for clearing the Lotus instead?

I want to see some actual delivered units rather than just their sample photo, which we know aren't always 100% accurate. We've seen plenty of "wild" D020s, but none of these yet, but I agree, given the more complicated design and larger number of cuts, call me pessemistic but I'm betting they're not all as neat as the photo, and possibly of a simplified design. It sure would be made better use of in pretty much any other form factor, though (sign me up for a stemless sidecar). WTF is that thing meant to be? Big, wide bong neck and strange restricted mouthpiece. Must be designed for smoking. Or maybe it's just completely random copied features thrown together? We may never know.

Oh cool. I've campaigned for a handle on the WPA on multiple occasions in the Lotus thread. When did they finally add it? Haven't been in there for months.

I have the handle - the problem is my 18-14mm reducer for the D020 was too lose, and my WPA stuck to the reducer. The reducer lasted less than 1 week before it stuck and then dropped onto my concrete patio, chipping off a huge chunk.

My new OGB reducer seems to stick much stronger to the D020 and the WPA lifts out a bit easier than my previous reducer. I'm also going to try a a 15degree angle male to female adapter from OGB to use instead of lifting by the WPA Handle.

Maybe try some joint wax if your adapter comes loose too easily?

Interesting - haven't ever really thought of using anything on the joints themselves.


Switching gears - has anyone found a nice small ash catcher for the D020 on DHgate or Aliexpress? Doesn't quite look like one would nicely fit in the female joint. My perc is starting to get really gunked up from stiring the ABV between every hit on my Lotus! (My friend called them 'barnacles' growing on the side of the perc! It hasn't been 2 weeks yet!)

Just ordered my D020... let the waiting game begin haha.

I was able to get in contact with the seller very quickly. Decided to ditch their glass nail/dome setup in favor of their domeless titanium nail. Had to cancel/refund my previous order and start up a new one, which the seller (sunshine) was able to handle well.

Paid $38 including shipping, so about $9 more to swap out the glass setup for a titanium. Pretty stoked to get this thing and fire it up! I have been using super ghetto methods to dab so this will be a welcome upgrade.

Has anyone used the supplied nail from the D020? I have never used a nail before and thought if I had the chance I would just use it. Is it worth using or just pitch it?

I was so close to getting that one! Real similar to my favorite Sheldon black piece at about 1/10th the price.

I am definitely excited about the nail! I'm going to put my tube on craigslist and grab a WP-010 and a QB-001 (fritted disc straight tube) next.

2 1/2 years ago I pick this up at my local smoke shop (LSS) for C-note!
Never used it but a couple of times.
I was the biggest rookie concerning glass. (Still am!)
However I'm having an amazing experience medicating using a water path.
I'm learning on this cheap stuff first.
Different strains through water is a good way the elevate a strain!
