Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Frederick McGuire

Try
max quality glass
Or
Thick quality glass

Or
Atomic smokes

They all seem to have similar fritter pieces that are well made.

I've only seen them have tubes, but they have bent necks so the ergonomics are similar to a bubbler.

I got 2 fritter pieces from xx Quality glass, and I'm about to trade for another one from atomic smokes.

The build quality is great on 1 of them (but I prefer te perc setup of the other, so I'm keeping the one with a few flaws and selling the "better" one.

Are there any Chinese folks on this forum or someone with the know-how with Chinese business trading and business culture???

Is bad communication, lack of writing proper emails and poor customer care ALWAYS like this: Minimal?

Or is it just me, some European who does not get it?

My company imports material from China. My wife lived and studied in Taipe, Taiwan for 6 years. I have travelled there, Beijing, Thailand etc and I can tell you one thing:

It IS always like this!

Unless it is some product of great value (I buy and import containers of granite from China and besides the standard production delays I get good service) then you mostly have to deal with this. Go to China and you will see these things for sale on the streets in some night markets. When it comes to this stuff Chinese people are generally a rude bunch that don't have the same business ethics as us. It's really that simple. Of course not everyone is like that. But it is the general rule of thumb.

As your effectively buying something from a shop in China, communications would probably be better if you spoke Chinese, similarly if a Chinese person had a problem with a purchase from Amazon.com & sent e-mails in Chinese they might also regard the Customer service as terrible.

After years of ordering from dealextreme.com and Banggood.com, Ive come to have no expectation from China beyond extreme fun, amazing prices, and usually crumpled shipping packages. I mena come on man, inhuman production prices have to come at a cost somewhere.

I think idealistically id rather just pay artists what they deserve so they can feed their families, Chinese, American, whatever. But until I am enlightened, I fucking love dhgate glass, always a treat when it arrives.

:puke:like to know if that piece has more or less chug than the single HC.

Well it appears the single hc is out of stock. Just as I was going to pull the trigger. Anyone know if its listed anywhere else. I am terrible at searching for glass on aliexpress.

Also @grokit can you post a link to that bub you just purchased. It looks nice.

Dabs are vapor too!
@Meghan said it really well:

I don't think it's that anyone is making excuses for "China", necessarily...just that most of us realize that as a consumer, you buy cheap Chinese glass direct from China because it's stupid inexpensive, not because you're likely to get quality customer service along the way. It's definitely a risk. Personally, I haven't and wouldn't spend more than $40 on an AliEx/DHGate bubbler because I know at the outset that the risk of poor build quality is higher than average and any problems with my order are likely to go unresolved (without major hassle and potential expense, at least...I would find it too big a hassle to ship something back to China, too, but completely understand why they would want me to!!).

canj00digit?

All my days in a daze...
Well, I have nothing but bad things to say about sunshineglassart so far...

First, I purchase the D020 through iOffer....

Ugh, that sucks dude. I've had a couple issues with flaky sellers on iOffer.
As you already know I got my D020 via AliExpress and I've had nothing but good experiences with them.
Only one order has failed to show and it was promptly refunded.

I bought mine on Jan 28th and it shipped Feb 12th. Considering most of that time the whole nation was on holiday it's pretty good time to ship I think. Let's see how long it takes to get here.

Everyone is talking about shipping, I just want to know.

As I said it's a knock-off, but here's a rhetorical question:
If I paid $100 and a real one costs $2k who got scammed?
Whoever breaks it first, that's who:lmao:!

As I also said, I just hope if works!
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ;)
Exactly. 2K for that piece is absolutely insane. The fact someone is asking that seems very wrong to me. But that is just my opinion.

At that price you are paying for the artistic merit of the piece and not the functionality of it. $2k is definitely the going price for a retail JP custom, my LHS has one of his custom doubles that they are asking $2800. They said if it doesn't sell before 4/20 they are going to raffle it off. With prices like that, you have to look at it as a piece of functional art and not just paraphernalia. That being said, there is absolutely no way I could personally spend that much for a piece unless I have a serious windfall first.
