The only cars that I owned since 1972 were BMW's. My first one was an 2002tii and my last was an M5. Lots of 3 and 5 series in-between. I never was able to find that blend of performance and comfort in one car as I was able to find with this brand.
But as of now, been car-less for about 4 years, and ya know, I don't miss it all that much. No gas to buy. No insurance to buy. No maintence bills to pay. And most of all, I'm getting a helluva lot more physical exercise walking to places that I would normally drive to.
Edit: Just for kicks..............Before '72, I owned a '56 Chevy Bel Air that I used to race at the drags with. Also owned a '62 fuel injected Vette in '63. Went for a period of time in the late 60's where I didn't own cars but owned bikes.........primarily English............Norton Commando, BSA Lightening Rocket and Triumph Bonneville TT Special.
LOVE the look of that new Vette though.
