My buddy did that with a 1 x 1 piece of wood. sawed in in half and carved out the slot for the wire and used rope to wrap it together. Works great.
Told him to sand it down but he said it doesnt matter since the rope wraps it.

I usually use ground or hand torn at those higher temps for quick whitewalls! Milks the beaker like a dairy cow!

Have you done full nug? Really blown away that 733 tastes this good. I'm going to go up a little more and see what I can get away with.

Hey, I was up at 800f last night! Convection screen concentrate hits.
Top tip: dont forgot to turn it down when you go back to flowers with the SC attached.

There was talk of cleaning glass earlier in the thread. I am someone who finds 'doing things' a nightmare, but I've settled on an easy method that really works.
A quick swill around with the rezblock water, dump it out. Hot water out of a just boiled kettle in the D020 and swilled about a bit then dumped. Add more recently boiled water, add rezblock.
Always amazes me just how clean something so simple keeps the glass. That is, until I run out of rezblock or a substitute of course, then the hot water cant keep up with the resin build up at all

Sweet piece! I came so close to pulling the trigger on that exact same sidecar during the black friday sale... but I kept holding back knowing there was something better out there waiting for me. Found it yesterday and ordered... this is on the way from DHGate... 10" total height. Should be just about the perfect volume for big nug roasting FlowerPot hits!

Basically what led me to the FP. Was getting heavy into dabbing, ready to get my first e-nail. Smoking flower was starting to taste like dirt (very earthy) compared to dabbing. Was looking at a Liger, then almost bought the mininail setup from a local shop, and then ran into the FP on a random youtube video. Made me think that I could leave the door open for flower, get back to it later if I wished, not totally forget it. I'm glad I did. Dabbing still top notch with quartz or SiC. Vaping flower took away much of the earthy taste. And convection dabs with flower is the shit!

FP/SH stoner starter bundle came last night. So happy that only 1 of 2 packages was delivered and it was the one with all the equipment so I could start baking right away. The pelican case should show up today. The coolest thing was that the new Ghost MV1 was sitting on my doorstep too. So 2 new toys show up on the same day. I got too high from the FP to really give the Ghost a fair evaluation. LOL
Playing with the various temps now. Was running at 685 and was getting good flavor but not a lot of milky vapor. Bumped up and got some better vapor but not getting the 2 or 3 solid hits that I see in others videos? Maybe one really good hit and one 1/2 hit. Any thoughts?

Slow ya draw? Add more to the load? Cap the SH (careful of a combustion event!)?

ahead of you. The FP is so versatile you can change the experience just by draw speed, grind, size of the bowl pack, temps...At 685 full nug would get you a really tasty hit and some ok vapor. Not really milk.
Fine grind at 685 with a slow draw should get you milk.

The crazy thing about the SH is despite all the versatility by manipulating those variables, I feel like it's the easiest vape I've ever used. I find it very intuitive, and very similar to smoking a bong hit. This vape still trips me out, I was dabbing a bunch of nice rosin the other day at my buddies, but all I could think about was damn, I can't wait to get home and do a flower hit out of the SH!
Damn that's crazy, what temps are you at? I don't feel like I've ever gotten anywhere close to combustion, even doing flower hits at 777F.
