Ok Here's my leak test for the Panhead and Shovelhead bowls.

Good, now leave the coil off, put the heater back on, cover the top of the heater with your hand or other material, draw hard and that will constitute a leak test. Nobody, not even once, said that the Pan Head doesn't extract. Not once.

Some have found some leakage on their rigs with their Pan Heads, others have not. I have no desire to dispute this nor to castigate the product in its entirety and I believe I have been very consistent throughout on this.

We are making a mountain out of a stone. Edwyn may not be the best salesman but he loves his job and he takes it to a very high standard so he feels it as his boy and he passionately defends it. This is not a negative aspect as it really shows his compromise and proudness dont blame him for being an artist. Passion and love can move the world but they can be misunderstood and we all are humans who can make one million mistakes, but in the end it is our one little sucess what matters.

You may be able to take such a high and noble road as this because you were not called names nor had your character, integrity, and honesty impugned. NOBODY has said, not even once, that the Pan Head is a bad product. This mountain you refer to is not a product issue, its a CS failure of epic proportions. Edywn bit, very badly, the hand that feeds him and when this was pointed out, he continued down that path until now when he seems to be regaining a more reasonable approach once again.

More of a vapor test than a leak test but looks just as I would expect from the FP. If that’s thinner vapor

The only point i'm trying to make here with video 3 of 3 is that the quality of fit doesn't really matter in my opinion. I'm attempting to demonstrate the worst case scenario. If the parts are allowed to sit still they preform much better. I'm still fully committed to increasing the clearance to .005" of the posts and removing the milled slot. And whatever else is need to improve the flowerpot.

For those that may want to make comparison videos/tests, would you mind also posting the following:

Load Size - A large load on higher temps would make an air leak less noticeable, especially in video, IMO at least. Not saying this is the case, just explaining why I am asking
Post Configuration - Is the bottom post bottomed out in the joint along with the top bowl resting on top of joint?
Temperature - Looks like 710 was used in the last video. Same for the other videos as well?

After opening everything I can only see 1 screen which seems more like a default screen which came with the bowl as opposed to a $6.75 doubleweave ti one (see img below), have they forgotten to put it in with my order or is that really a doubleweave screen?

Check the shipping box! I order a set of the skinny Ti screens and the double weave one. I thought they forgot to pack it, or didn't pack it all because they refunded it for wrong size. But then I went to the box it came in. that I tossed aside, I shook it and heard something moving around - and I found it. Hard to see in there as it slipped out of it's packaging. Yours might be in there too.

On a side note, last night I did my first 'convection' dab with the FP (is that what's it's called?). Still using the wraparound SiC top. Added some dry flower on top of a skinny Ti screen (I only use one screen as of now. I'll start checking how messy it gets). I then took the oversized double-weave Ti screen, folded it up in a square so it fit in the bowl, scraped some pineapple express BHO on it. I put the top on, carb capped it, and ooohweee!! That was a whole new experience. So I'm assuming doing something like this with the showerhead is nirvana

That's so strange to me. I hate that this thing ever happened, it's completely killed the buzz on this thread. It's kinda hard to go back to before, and pretend like it never happened.

I don't see how members are now still supposed to feel comfortable giving user experience or product feedback. Without knowing when will NV flip out again and tell them that now he's taken their money, he's glad to be done with them? Who says that to paying customers?! As a prospective customer, can I feel sure that I won't accidentally piss NV off if I post anything other than meaningless love notes? Nope.
I can't imagine that in the history of FC that a manufacturer/retailer has insulted so many of their current customers & alienated future customers/fans like this. Maybe I'm wrong? Glad I haven't seen it.

Convection dabs is where the flavor is at!!
Now try some herb, your concentrate on top and then a layer of herb!

The way i look at it is we are lucky to have access to an actual manufacturer that will listen to our suggestions and implement what he deems most important to his business model.
Some discussions gets very heated and we all have our own perspectives and a lot of people have been hurt in some way due to an accessory.
I also see that an offer to accept extremely clean used bowls has been offered. If i was unhappy i would return the bowl and move on.
Life is too short to be pissed over someone you don't know, unless that person is Trump.

NVFP seems like the topdog, the nonstop improvement is a huge plus.

But unless I'm missing something behind the scenes, steama was just being honest and informative and helpful. He never seemed to overly criticize the product or drag anything through the mud.

I was gunna buy one when I get my bonus sometime soon, now I'm not sure.

Send the bowl back and wait for the inevitable improvements to be made if you're all pissed off about it. Or take it to email/PM/phonecall to settle whatever "personal" digressions have been made. Don't do it in public. I personally don't care and am not gonna denounce NV just because of this? I'm afraid you guys will be tweeting at each other like some fuckin Trump tirade

The old bowls still work just fine. Dropdowns and adapters are shit. Go direct into your glass. Look at @NewVape710 vids... Doesn't seem "airy" to me, but what do I know. I've only put maybe a QP of flowers thru my FP since getting it.

CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! (based on my experience, I'd say) Less excuses, deflecting, and playing the victim card.. and in place of that, more of simply making things right for your paying customers.. don't avoid issues, deal w/ them.. That's always gonna be your simplest solution IMO That's how you keep customers.. Customer service is HUGE!!!!! and especially if you're a small operation, it's EVERYTHING, IMO! As I've said a number of times, I LOVE YOUR PRODUCT, but you can't just say "customer service was never my strong suit" and expect that to fly accepted.. Especially now that you're running out of people now to defend and make excuses for your customer service practices.. the bullshit wears thin eventually... No doubt, GREAT VAPE THOUGH!!!! That is so sad, this thread is so great as is appereantly the Flowerpot. A huge plus for it is the direct feedback here direct from the manufacturer and the fast development and all the stuff added with help of community input.

Just one thought: For me, a good relation doesn t mean that there are no arguments or fights - in a family or good friendship, there are arguments and even fights and they suck. It is not like everything is alright after that, because feelings got hurt. But - everybody just stays and deep inside knows it will get better.

So, perhaps just take it as the Flowerpot-family which is so inclined that sometimes the feelings go over board but just keep going?

I honestly think the stand should accomdate the bowl too!

I held all the newvape parts constructed and upside down... and noticed the heat seasoning.. more effective.

And maybe it would be more effective if we held it by the handle... draining mass vs air is way way way different.

On a happy note over the weekend I played with dry hits using my egg. The hits are very very smooth. I was really impressed. Oh...and ZERO restriction.
