I don t think i m clueless

I don't think you're clueless @Doktor Dub, in fact I greatly value your posts. Some members sure can be rude though. I guess everyone interprets the "be nice" rule differently.

This vape seems awfully similar to the Sublimator without such a massive thermal mass. So much more versatile though, and affordable. Nice to see it taking off!

Yeah, take the screen out if you are running primarily concentrates - pretty damn simple. Concentrate condensation is not a problem with the Flower Pot in any way. It is just like a normal enail.

;)
I have had no issues so far keeping my screen clean , i brush it out after every session and have yet to notice a build up from using concentrates. Popping the screen out will def . help though . I even tried using a Storz and Bickel dosing capsule the other day , they fit perfect in the bowl , will make it so there is little to no cleaning but you will only get real cloudy hits using them by capping the bowl with a carb cap as i did not get a huge amount of vapor with out using the carb cap.

You could have the wrong Lollicap. Something went wrong with an order of mine so I ended up speaking with New Vape over the phone. I told them I wanted to order the Lollicap, and would have but it was not on the Flower Pot page so I forgot to pick one up. The reason I say anything is because they told me there are two different Lollicaps. They had to redesign the Lollicap to work better with the flower pot so I was told. If you are in doubt or feel the Lollicap could be better I would contact New Vape.

The FPSSSW

The bowl on the Flower Pot can get warm but generally it is not too hot to handle with bare hands if you don't rest your enail on the bowl. For those times when the bowl is too hot to handle and you need something to grab it with. I made the highly technical FPSSSW 'flower pot super simple strap wrench' it works like a charm to remove a hot flower pot bowl.

strap_wrench.jpg
I have the new version of the Lollicap and it fit's perfectly on the quartz head. I actually never had the og version and was using my existing carb caps that worked well but once i got the Lollicap it was a game changer. Ahh i really like that idea , to hold the bowl and dump , i have either been waiting for mine to cool less than a minute or using some test tube clamp's that i had received with my @DDave mod kit awhile back - https://www.ddavemods.com/store/p2/The_DDave_Mod_V2.5_for_Arizer_EQ_&_VTower_Vaporizers_-_(18mm_Only).html (not to sure if Dave sells them seperate though) ., have no fear though , with a company that cares like NewVape and actually want's to keep there products so they are ever evolving is working on some sort of fix for this , it may be a bowl with a handle or it may be a handle add on like the sublimator uses and the Enano , i am not sure but i know they are trying to put something together for us. I never really ran into a issue but it is always nice to have. Till than i am digging the FPSSSW man. Wow your head really turned some nice color , i know with me using the quartz now i cannot get that nice blue titanium color but i am hoping eventually the bottom of the head maybe turns , i know i can most likely torch it to get it to look like that.

And here I thought @biohacker was gonna help me loosen up the funds for the Ti Herbo, which is not in stock. I have made up my mind thanks to the good folks in this thread. Already had the gear in the cart just never committed to the purchase until today. Got a Liger V2 that I will try and fit up the sic dish to the top head of the FP. My use will mostly be with flower, and I too have been less than excited by my 3 Clouds, 3 Evo's and 1 Herbie. Bring it on NewVape. Here comes my money!

Oh I have you beat there bro! ;) I won't even mention the many multiples of so many other vapes i've owned, totalling >100 over the past decade, but there were at least a dozen Solo's and EQ's in the mix!

Back to the Flower Pot and the Pot Flower! :leaf::nod:

lazylathe

Almost there...
Quick tip #2:

For intense flavor with thicker clouds try this:
Place FP head on loaded base as per normal.
Then hover the Lolli Cap over the bowl, up to 5mm above the bowl works but usually around 2 to 3mm is good.
Draw speed can remain the same.
You cab basically tailor your vapor density on the fly with this technique.

Density is somewhere between uncapped and capped, a good inbetweener!

I have also changed from a fine grind to a coarser grind and it is much more consistent now.
My Lift grinder is perfect for this vape!

Still using my basket screen mod and i see @steama is on board as well!!
Perfect extraction every hit! And it is a heavy hitter!

The Flower Pot is an exceptional one hit rig with a basket screen. I have found placing a basket screen high gives your hit more air and placing it at the bottom of the bowl make it the perfect shape for a complete one hit extraction with no stirring. Load it just enough to cover the hole, smaller than a dime, maybe about the size of a large pill. Apply heat and Bam! One hit heaven!

:ko:
What basket screen, may I ask? Like an Enano screen?

This'll be worth looking into when they put a handle on the bowl. Seems odd to me that they didn't. Get onto it already!
They are working on something , i definitely would not let it deter you from not purchasing. It really is not a issue as you never really keep the head on the base for a long time unless you are strictly using concentrates & even if so , the bowl will cool in under a minute and be able to be handled. I have not had any issues but a handle would be helpful and i know something should be coming out shortly once some testing is done , in the mean time you can always grab a pair of test tube holders.

I also thought this would be an issue so I bought some tongs before I got the flower pot. Those tongs were used for corn on the cob last night. I even made a leather strap to grab the bowl when hot which I have never used - hehe.

@Justpassedu is correct that nothing is really needed because the bowl really never gets that hot when vaping flowers. If you just had a cloth or paper towel near by you would be set.

I put a piece of silicone tubing on my male bowl to keep it from seating too tightly in the 18mm glass joint breaking my piece. I was just looking at it and realized it is also perfect for grabbing a hot bowl.

Very good idea i had not thought of , unfortunately it may not fit my stubby bowl when inserted but def the others. Thank you

*edit , worked out nice.

Good day everyone. I wanted to present a few new thing's in the works for the ever evolving Flower Pot . I am asking the forum members to please help present there suggestions and or complaints to help this design come to life in the perfect way for us. Here is the 1st picture of the handle being designed , please do not be afraid to comment :

Next i know a few members have been interested in using a Sic dish over quartz or titanium , NewVape has brought this idea to life with the help of Tag and should have in stock the Sic dishes that will be a direct drop in for quartz body owners , they should be sold at the same price as tag :

Now i have looked over the design for the handle and so far think it looks great , what i possibly would like added is some type of grip/insulation for the removable handle as i am unsure of how hot it may get , i know the owner of the company as you can see in the design had hinted at possibly wrapping it in hempwick.

A really progressive upgrade! Thanks a lot for sharing this.

For everyone who is searching for a good desktop solution for herbs but also wants to dab in the same league the NV FP will open a new door with the SiC option compared to competitors I guess.

Regarding the must have of a handle

- not possible to overheat in the grip zone
- safe and ergonomical handling by design (guess a dabber don't work so. Too thin, too less grip, too instable)

Nice Updates / Upgrades, the Flowerpot looks better and better.

I really dig the modularity, some other Vapes / Companys should take this approach.
The SiC Option is nice and will make the Flowerpot probably the best Vape to do also proper Dabs.
Easy to clean base is also a good idea, i m with @Hogni and think the design of a handle could be better / more practical.

Now make it available in europe! :-)

Please post what you think should be added/improved to the handle design so we can get all our ideas over to Newvape to make this great the 1st time.

My thoughts about the handle: at first, i m not too sure about it, perhaps the Possibility to use different Dabbers etc. is a good one and it could definetly work like it is in the Picture, just have the feeling this is not the most elegant and perhaps not the best solution.

At first, i would prefer a shorter an thicker handle, like it is seen on some slides. This could well be wrapped with Hemp, like the Nail Handle from NewVape.

Another thought: What about a groove around the outside of the Bowl which can fit a thick O-Ring or Hemp Wick? Would be more unobtusive but probably not as safe to Handle.

What i DO like is the Idea to use threading in a standard size, so NewVape can easily produce different Handles if there is the demand and even third Party or DIY Handles are possible.

I like the groove Idea, but see how this is not as safe as the long Handle.

Just my :2c:

I'm kind of with you....if feasible, I would probably prefer just an slightly inset area on the bowl that can be wrapped in Hempwick or a high temp silicon band (think band on Nano stems) and be done with it. As it stands now, you will already have a handle sticking of on the coil, a handle/dabber on the lollipop cap (if you use one) and now another handle sticking out??

Just seems like too much, IMO.
