Hmmm im starting to think im gonna get a liger for concentrates and the shower head for just flower.

Call me crazy, but I think that's financially wasteful. The Liger, while wonderful, is pretty pricey for just a nail. I looked but could never justify and I'm glad I didn't. A month later I discovered the FP.

Haven't felt the need for any other dab set up

I definitely don't "need" anything else either, as far as concentrate use (in fact I packed away the ole torch and banger today...) OR flower (I'll just fire up the underdogs if I wanna do microdoses) but getting the setup for the showerhead and the dnail sic halo sure is tempting, since "better" exists, and these things are fun to try.

I can go pretty low after more messing around, 675 was the lowest I went before... It alright, and I could probably go lower if I stuck to smaller loads. I'm not minding higher temps either... I kinda like being my definition of "done" flower bowls in just 2 or 3 hits, so I'm going to settle where ever that ends up being... Which looks to be around 720~

This recycler I got from CCG (off DHgate) is amazing, works perfectly and is REALLY REALLY smooth which I love. No throat burning at all like torch+banger. And amazingly the flower flavor does not suffer even after doing a few dabs and not changing out the water.

Anyway, that's it for now, and with this setup, and etc.

I want to move my flowers a bit closer so I can drop the temp

Nah bro juse sell your underdogs this is all you need. It's a microdose champion =).

You can go lower. take it down to like 640ish, then bump it up about 30 or 40 degrees after a couple draws.

Couple more weeks wait on my recycler, it's currently floating across the ocean now I suppose.

and then about then a small fresh harvest of bubba kush to start burning thru can't wait for that.

I love my dogs way too much and they have too much character to sell them, but I did give it at least 10seconds of thought. They look good just sititng out so I don't mind it one bit.

I'll run out to some headshops today to see what kinda screens I can find but I'm still enjoying it and messing around here.

HA! i dont make the best financial decisions. But honestly i just dont like how dirty it gets the FP when you take numerous dabs. The reclaim starts sticking the avb to the bowl and then i can taste it when i leave the nail on the bowl to dab since it gets hot. Right now im just dabbing crumble so im not being picky on taste but im deff not gonna smoke terpy concentrates on that because its gonna taste like the sticky reclaim with abv.

Pricey...I suppose. But while I like my very nice and expensive D-nail w SiC Halo, I still like the performance of my Liger 2.0 better.

Haven't tried the FP yet, will probably just go for flower config at first with the shower head, but the Liger does set a high bar in my estimation.

What material are you dabbing off of with that setup? What makes the liger superior to other nails you've tried?

just wondering. i think I'm going to get the shower head as well. they offered to replace my chipped SiC dish and I'm gonna see if I can just get a discount on the shower head instead (and also so I can order some screens since I'm lazy and don't wanna go out today lol)

anyway, it does seem to get better if i start off high then go lower. weird but I'm not complaining

Buy a seperate base to just use for dabbing. Way cheaper than a LIger.

Got to spend a little time this weeekend with both the shower head & wrap around dish. The better airflow is definetly apparent using the shower head , I also feel like my vapor may be forming a tiny drop quicker using it. Tried both at the same time at 640f and had no problem milking my glass with thick dense hits. I have only used them with flower so far , both 20mm setups and I am using the coil cover only on the wrap around setup with the dnail Sic dish so far. They hold the heat well and maintain a steady temp on my enail, I got them to drop maybe 2-5 degrees but they both quickly came back . I feel a Carb cap really makes the experience allot better. Like @PoopMachine said just get a separate base for dabbing only. I did the same thing but before that i would clean the bowl if I was just going to dab or wanted to get the best flavor.

I was finally able to test out the 20mm stuff and the showerhead. Wtg @NewVape710 these are homeruns 100%!! The showerhead is the ultimate flower vape. It rocks no carb cap required at 715. Full extraction of a 18mm handle bowl filled to the top in 1 hit no problem!! It freaking rips hard. IMO the only reason for a carb cap is if your going to dab from it. The wide open air flow is awesome and I had no need to monitor my draw speed. I just ripped away and it milked the bong like Dairy Queen!! Wow totally blown away.

The coil cover works awesome with the showerhead and I'll definitely be running it with the showerhead. I have only used the wrap around dnail head once so far but it seems to be a big improvement over the non wrapped design. I can tell the dish is being more evenly heated and the bottom of the dish was super clean after a dab with no real vapor trails. I definitely feel as if I could go lower than my normal 720-745 temps. More testing is required!!

I would not. At least not until their new dish is available. I sold both of my Ligers and have no intentions on going back to one.

What's attractive to me is the Halo wrap around + coil cover for the Flowerpot should, in theory at least, put it closer to the Liger in regards to temperature stability.

@Justpassedu Doesn't the carb cap throttle back any airflow increases the showerhead would provide compared to the regular Flowerpot?

If you're developing ridges/ledges/levels for the party bowl, how about the same function but placed in the air path under the flower bowl to keep a small screen in there for microloads?

I want to find screens like @morvis posted a few pages back so raise the load closer to the heat source. The stock screen position is fine, but putting it lower won't help I don't think.

I ripped similar ones apart and just cut a screen to size instead

A Carb cap will always decrease airflow when placed on. I feel they are free flowing enough to begin with it does not make a difference. I am getting denser hits Carb capping with 0 air flow issue. I don't find it a bother at all.

Are they too wide they can't be worked into the narrower section? They don't look any less deep than what i'm working with now. I was attracted to the outer ring because the ones i'm bending into shape push through easily but otherwise work nicely for my use.

How low down the shaft the ground flower is isn't really much an issue as simply adjusting the temperature up or down will compensate with load distance from the heater shaft.

If you're developing ridges/ledges/levels for the party bowl, how about the same function but placed in the air path under the flower bowl to keep a small screen in there for microloads?

Or to place a screen with some hemp fiber on top to keep out any small partials that make it by the screen.

@NewVape710 can you do the flat bowl style of the non handle base in the handle base please??? The screen moves around and falls out way to easily with the new style bottom

Edit: or maybe make a ledge in the base to hold the screen in.

Also, those screens are too wide to fit into the opening under where the stock screen goes. You can maybe deform them to fit into it, but idk, I wasn't wasting my basket. Stock screens are ok for now, I just doubled up on em lol

Cool thanks I requested cancel of the order so we'll see how that goes =). I'll figure something out for it. It works just fine I just gotta be careful cleaning out the avb.

I can not believe how awesome this showerhead is!!! 685 no carb cap and still full extraction. I did turn it back up to 710 though as I like the higher temp hits better. This is the best one hit vape ever!! At 710 the abc comes out a dark brown and the hits are so heavy! I love it.

Just waiting on the showercap to be released and I'm pretty sold on the showerhead. Really interested in how much better it is than the regular setup,as it still has me floored. Literally.

I'd like to hear thoughts from someone who has both a GS and showerhead FP tbh... @Prolusio @lazylathe @Zow237
