I got the exact same setup in October. I can’t say a single bad thing about it, aside from the fact that it REALLY turned me on to concentrates, causing me to build another pricey setup...

for whatever reason (??) vaping flowers tastes like stale tea to me right now. I had my first bit of tasty live resin and suddenly flowers are unpalatable. I’ve choked down one gram, maybe two of flowers in the last month.

I know this has nothing to do with the flowerpot, and everything to do with my own stupid taste. unbelievable bit of kit that took me way too long to try.

I got just the Vrod bundle with a glass bowl. Has yours already shipped? I've been wanting this vape for a while now and I'm so impatient. Haha

One of the bundles and some glass is all you need except the bud so your set!

Some people find the glass bowl to provide a better taste or they just want less metal in the air path. I don't pick up on a huge difference in taste between my ti and glass bowls but I do like the glass bowl for smaller loads. It's real easy to clean, I just remove the screen then rinse it out with hot water. I certainly wouldn't tell you not to pick it up but I used my ti bowl for almost a year without any complaints, variety is fun though. You'll learn picking up accessories is your new addiction now that you have a killer vape:science:!

I don't find the V-Rod to be a bad device for dabbing even without herb but you might find it a bit underwhelming if your good with torch dabs, I've moved on to a e-nail myself for most of my 'trates but still like to rip some dabs off the flowerpot. If your going to dab without herb on the flowerpot I like using the glass bowl without a screen in place so it doesn't get gunked up.

Running it at 635 with a glass bowl and no carb cap.
Hits nice.......very nice but dayum that is a sexy HOT hunk of metal.
Found a nice stone base that I cut for a Arizer air vape that fits the head beautifully and the stone is steatite that is mined here refined and made into insulators so makes a nice little nest when not in actual use......slightly safer I reckon.

I bought one of these metal rolling carts from Target, and it is perfect for using the Flowerpot on the couch, and moving around the house. The controller, heat stand, and flowerpot head all go on the middle shelf. The glass, grinder, Jyarz, avb container, and tools all go on top. Drinks can go on the bottom. It really is the perfect setup as having the FP unit on the middle makes it much less likely that I will burn myself. I highly recommend this setup.

I chipped my sic dish like an idiot last week. (I was screwing the head onto the coil, it didn’t thread, and the two pieces dropped to the floor. Ugggh.

Today my dish nut was glued on like it is every day and my ham fists turned the chip into a large chunk. I’m not saying I still tried to dab off it, but it doesn’t really work when half the dish is missing and it doesn’t seal at all.

Such a bummer.

The d-nail “seconds” halo has been sold out and newvape doesn’t have any extra sic dishes. Any ideas for halos?

Thank god I have a tbucket coming, or else I would (almost) without question be trying to dab off the titanium deck with no dish right now...

fadespace is selling seconds that may or may not fit, not at a bad cost either

i had a coupon that worked as of yesterday, may still work if interested

It won't be too long before we have more stock of these, we will be offering it on its own as usual, just can't for now.

Additionally, there are some lurking rumors (not so much) about a AVB revision. Traditionally, you guys have helped so much with feedback. So there is no breaking tradition now...

Any thoughts on these proposed revisions?

Aaaaaand gooooo.

First one is a one-piece can with a built in knocker and the brush sits higher on a built in post, no lid...
second one is a proposed tapered lid that would hold the brush lower and more inside of the can, I believe this one has no knocker pad...

why not both? make the first one small enough to fit into the slot for the carb cap on the existing stands, and the second can be revision 2 of the abv can. I think the recessed design would work well with the existing stands.

@newvape918 very well and cannot wait to pickup my tbucket!! :) I found a sic donut from TAG but definitely want a proper replacement from you guys when they are made available again! Hope you’re well!

I’m sure I’m in the minority, but I’ve always kept my abv in a sealed jar, tipped hot from the bowl. I used the debolwer stand a few times, but I’m just weird, I don’t want to see or smell any dirty stuff. I’m fully aware that I’m ridiculous. That second design looks interesting if I’m understanding it correctly, especially if the bottom/dirty chamber could be sealed, and opened as needed.


@shopdognyc thank you g, another member already directed me to a cheap sic donut from thick ass glass, on the way already to me. I will be sure to explain to everyone if it fits once I get it.

the vrod just looks so wrong with a broken dish. I can’t have it.

Definitely a very obvious lesson that just “playing” with vape gear for literally no reason at all is not a smart decision lol edit- a good lesson to be reminded on as I wait for a sapphire dish
