I think from what I read someplace it just concerned the overall life of the coil element. Which makes total sense. With new coils @ $35 dollars a pop (a damn good price compared to others out in the market) that and ordering a back up I'm not worried about it.
Plus on off cycles are harder on it I'd think. Just like starting a car. That initial dry turn over is what gets you over time. Oh... and finally this. Most people I know and from reading around different places, leave their nails on 24/7 from what I've gathered so far. Personally I think it's an owners choice.
I like the convenience of already having everything on for live fire! Safety off, locked, loaded.....and at the ready.
