I've hardly used my wraparound until now, so it's not as colorful as my SH. I expect that to change with the dual controllers in play now.
Since I have both going simultaneously, I thought I'd do some tests with my new thermometer that I also got this week.
With both set to 680°F I checked the temp of the dabbing surface. As you might expect, the sic temp is quite a bit hotter than the SH. 550°F to 465°F to be exact.
Bonus chart of the test since the new thermometer has temp logging and I need to show it off.
Edit: I just realized that I fucked up the date settings and accidentally reported events from the future. It's not December yet.

Which smaller version do you have, is it 14mm? What's the reason for buying the bigger one?

TEMP LOGGING! Damn, I need a thermometer upgrade! That would make my testing so much fucking easier. This is a great chart! Nice one!

The smaller unit is just a bit too small for my tastes. I have swimmers lungs so I need something that allows me to breath naturally, but pretty deeply and intensely. This piece looks like perfection.

I took the silicon cover off the handle and slid that on to the t/c lead, pushing it in to seal the hole... again, not ideal, an extra hassle. I didnt come up with anything better that seemed 'safer' but I guess it could be clogged with hemp/cotton? I coulda done that actually, but I was too busy wanting to actually use the SH instead
No idea on the hot t/c's, I was taking one for the team/conveniently ignoring it. Need some bellows instead!

I guess they changed the machining process. on my 14/18mm female bowl, the handle hole isn't drilled all the way through so I couldn't stick a probe in

Yeah, bought it 10/23. I guess it's the Revision 2.0? lol but yeah it has a groove for the screen (well if I remember right, it's not FOR the screen, but you know what I mean). I thought Edwyn said it was from the machining process or something.

I totally should've checked for the hole before i bought the thermometer lol felt like such an idiot. Oh well, did some testing on the WS, so at least I made use of it
The other way to do it would be a dropdown with a removable reclaim jar, like what I do have innit
This is what I was usually doing, occasionally crumbling by hand first. Until I got the newvape fine grinder that is, now I flit between lumps and break them down over draws, or fine grinds from the start.
