Camouflet Ceramo XL

I'll chill when camouflet gets better.
The whole trevor bit is a joke in and of itself and the 2+month wait for my banger that I know others also dealt with is unacceptable.

But hey I guess because it's a small company they get a pass for not knowing how to manage their own inventory before their biggest or second biggest sale.

I got in on the 420 Forge & Tornado combo last year with expected ship date of mid May for both. Got the Forge in June and Tornado in September. Tornado ended up breaking the Forge and had to wait for V2 to be released end January of this year. Was I happy? Hell no! Was there anything I could do about it? nope. Point being, if you get in on a pre order and have no patience for delays, then don't do it and save yourself the aggravation.

Assuming this persons identity is 100% confirmed, I’m glad to hear about this.
Luckily, this product doesn’t require a custom sized lithium battery.
My “hoopers” were a cool idea, unfortunately the company showed no morals when they disappeared, and left customers that paid, holding the bag.

Getting off topic here, but just wanted to let you know it was indeed 100% confirmed, through their discord, from a manufacturer who made the discovery from champs and a potential partnership that now fell apart as a result (it has also been revealed there I believe that they are working on a battery-powered device just like hopper too) :uhoh:

Idk the drama with hopper labs but that was the sickest and most innovative vapes in the game.

Never had problems with my og ti for years until I lost it one day.

I would personally welcome a new vape of the like.

I would suggest skimming those threads to see that you are largely in the minority to not have had any issues lol flawed design imo

Edit to Add: sorry again for more off topic, hopefully this can get back on track, though the wait time for shipping after pre-orders is almost always tough for a product thread!

They have a prototype of It that I have seen looks very similar to the old grasshopper. Not to concerned about them not shipping the Ceramo Xl out my Super capacitor shipped today

Too bad I'm not in need of another vape of this style otherwise this is THE vape of this style for me.

No metal condenser, o rings and it's ceramic. Great idea.
On paper yes. We have yet to see how it functions with no internal cooling system however. It might require third party solutions. There is a reason competitors didn't think to take elegance to this extreme.

I think they should have bundled it with a removable Zirc MP, that would allow users to add glass balls.

I agree other than I prefer a mp w/spiral, so much easier to clean than balls. The 8mm bore will allow plenty of customization right off the bat.
Found a mp that allows me to use the ceramic condenser without o-rings, runs much cooler than a metal condenser and allows much more surface area to cool the vapor. 8mm angus mp adapter

CXL should be here next week, ceramo whenever

The Quad Bore Ceramic Cooling Tube (not XL) works with the Ceramo, I know because I ordered the wrong one and CS emailed me to let me know.

That doesn't contradict anything I've said imo. It's a good option for those tho have them though.

I was letting everyone know you don't need third party solutions per se, as you said. They have an option compatible with Ceramo to cool down vapor themselves.

Even tho I have to admit I never tried one, so I don't know how well it works. I was just trying to be informative

For Canadians who pre-ordered, I guess now we can expect a 25% import duty hit when the Ceramo crosses the border, given that Canada will also implement 25% tariffs on the U.S.?

Personally I wouldn't be worried about the harshness of the hit, I've only ever used every vape natively; I would even hit the herbalair with just the white nipple thing that you're suppose to plug the whip tubing into.

But people do seem to like their cooling systems.

I gotta think they tested vapor cooling through the straight stem of the Ceramo. Enough so that Camouflet is confident in shipping this new product without a condenser.

From what I see, this is the first TED of its kind to use the zirconia stem? With this type of innovation, of course no other companies would have made anything like it before. Your comment is implying competitors have even had the idea.

It's not terribly dissimilar to a Zi device designed by Phase 3 a year or so back, but this is their own design that works in their ecosystem. I think both would be welcome to many of us; they share similarities but also differ in ways that make them less redundant.

It's not really a new idea. @invertedisdead has built prototypes made from one piece Zirc stem concepts.

Yeah maybe the heat conductivity of the Zirconium is enough. I find myself doubtful, as I believe not enough vapour will make contact with the Zirc walls for enough time to cool a 0.2g bowl. I hope I'm wrong. If I'm right atleast the stem will be easily modified.

I stand corrected, I guess I'm not as big of a vape nerd as some others on here! Hahaha. Love this community.

I have seen the Phase 3 Zirc bowls and understand others are using the same material but the application is slightly different to what the Ceramo looks to be, ie. length of the zirconia airpath as it relates to cooling.

But damn, the Thermovape Cera in 2013! Around that time I would have been getting my first vaporizer, a Vapman, from a local headshop. What parts were zirconia on the Cera? Was it a zirconia airpath like the Ceramo is? How did it cool if so?
