@killick and please forgive me for not gushing huge congratulations on your first dispensary trip! I remember my first day with a MMJ card Washington state. Unforgettable!

My wife said something funny the other day about me being a "know it all".

She said "You know, it's really annoying living with a know it all like you, except I need to know something, and then it's kind of nice."

And with the clothes washing. You can slowly drop down the concentration of the detergent until you notice it is not working. I've never actually found the bottom, so I just go with about half or a third of whatever they say for a small load. This advice is also for generally clean adult clothing that has been lightly worn. If you are a rugby team or something, you probably need more detergent.

The place I went to yesterday was brand new, and didn't have a huge selection compared to a few others in the region (apparently - I'm going by Leafly here).

Anyways I'm making the wee glass globe look kinda like a 'vapour wonderland' snowglobe shaky thing, and before that we were playing soccer (me and the mutt). Before that I was on the phone with va for far too long. I kept getting transferred to other peoples voicemail, so I'd start every message with a long burble from the watertool, and then leave a message in a breathy voice. A small bit of fun, but it's mine :)

I am vaped out on Pineapple Haze atm. It helps alot with my ADHD... In fact, I was able to churn out this video for my youtube page! Check it out. In the video I load up some grade A+++ Orange Sherbert into my trusty Santa Cruz Shredder, in which I proceed to Shred it. Load the perfectly shredded goods into my MiniVap basket and silicone bowl piece. Pop that thing on top of my DaVinci Ascent water adapter and place my MiniVap ontop of my Mobius Matrix Ion Bubbler. Launch off! :leaf:

So I'm discovering things - I'm discovering that my qwiso is pretty darn good! At least compared to the shatter I got from the dispensary, which is about the same... so maybe I'll try some from another source to give me a double-blind!
Secondly - I just ground some LSD, Lemon Sour Diesel, and my face is getting very melty! This hybrid stuff is really fun!

@VapingDitto great vid! I'm *this* close to pulling the trigger on the Minivap, so always fun to see it in action :)

Alright, so where was I. Oh yes, the Valentine's day caramels. This day is starting out with our favorite high octane morning treat: The Hippie Speed Ball!

What I love about these edibles is that they are the only ones I can find that are made with high quality BHO instead of cannabutter made from moldy leafy trim in some budtender's girlfriend's kitchen. Ever since a failed cooking experiment in my youth, I simply cannot stand the grassy flavor of most cannabis edibles. I have been told that the person who makes these went to some fancy cooking school to be a candy maker.

Her chocolates are usually between 30-40 mg THC, and since she is starting with lab tested BHO, and I have been enjoying these for quite some time now, I'm pretty sure that these numbers are spot on, as I ate a whole one last night and lost about three hours wandering through the house. I only ate half of this chocolate fudge this morning because i am a recreational caffeine abuser, and only consume a significant amount of caffeine once a week as coffee and maybe one of these on Saturday or Sunday morning.

I know that @Enchantre and @CarolKing must probably be able to get these lovely delights made in their area.....

And for fun, sometimes I write silly haiku poetry.

Oh, and I am vaped. Still working on that same gram of subcritical CO2 oil. I really must try the other two varieties, as it looks like one gram of this can make me very happily medicated for at least 4-5 days, so as economical as it is tasty!

'Hippie speed ball' love it :) I have a selection of medibles around all the time,but aiming for things that store well since I'm the only one that partakes in our household. And with the way our Canadian MMJ laws work I can only get flower, in a few different strains, legally. So I'm learning to be my own chemist, chef and vaporist. At first it was confusing, but now I'm feeling more comfortable with it. VA is hooking me up with some things to make cooking a bit easier - a 'stand stool' so I can spend additional time at the counter cooking. Tonight we try 'ice chocolate', which is simply a mix of plain chocolate with coconut oil. We will have 2 batches, and 1 of those will be a bit spacey!

@killick I also did not realize that becoming a medical marijuana patient meant I might also have to become a farmer, chemist, and chef. It's a good thing this medicine also happens to be so pleasant to have in my life, because it soulful be a royal pain in the ass otherwise.

Again, a huge thank you to the citizens of Washington state who fought so hard for people like me. I wasn't here to help, but I am forever grateful for making this medicine safe for me.

The past 18 months or so have been hugely enlightening! I started this journey not really knowing what to expect, and it's exceeded my small expectations and have made me a huge convert. I'm glad I had to learn all this mainly on my own, and I'm really glad that I've found things, like FC, and the local dispensaries, to provide either guidance before/during, or giving me the opportunity to compare my stuff with 'professional quality' examples! Now I'd like to find a vapor lounge to share thoughts in person with like-minded individuals, and my VA case manager thinks she has one - she'll share more detail with me on Monday.

I took my 85 year old neighbor out for a Valentines coffee and muffin this morning. She has a referral to a dispensary, and plans on going next week. We also talked about some of what I've been making (which reminds me I have to drop some cocobudder off this afternoon). She is trying to encourage me to open a dispensary here, in the wee village of 500, mainly retired folk or working in the agri, alcohol or entertainment industries. Who knows - maybe it's an idea for a business plan? It's not like I don't have some free time these days...


Our Federal government (an incredibly flocked group of politicians currently steering our bus, and not long for our country). They tried really hard to ban mmj, and it's only thanks to our Supreme Court, who blocked them on legal grounds. Thank goodness for the Canadian Supreme Court and their continued bashing of the a$$hats currently mangling our government.

I'm also thinking I might be going at this vaping stuff a bit heavy this AM. Thats when I had the oil globe filling while the WT was idling on the other side. One breathe of air, one of oil, one of vape - repeat, repeat, repe..... :whoa:

I'm sure 500 senior citizens consume enough medication to keep a traditional pharmacy going, so why not provide the rest of what some of them need but cannot easily acquire?

I'm wanting to make CBD more available and affordable, particularly for children that need it.

Can you imagine what people might have thought twenty years ago if I said that I wanted to make the world a better place by making fruity flavored marijuana laced candy for children?

I've only been in Washington state for less than a year, but know that somehow I want to be involved in the movement as a career to help people.

That's awesome! Hippy speed balls are good, and the sweet dreams one works pretty well...

,... alas, they contain dairy. Hubby likes them, but our real favorites are, so far, Fractal Farmacy's raw chocolates (50 mg each) made with RSO, Mondo Bars (large bar, 70 mg), and I JUST found Peace Med's Granola Bars at a whopping 200 mg per! made with BHO/RSO (could be either, they have both).
I see the edibles selection just exploding!

I also make my own, using BHO or RSO, either great bargain stuff or stuff I've done myself (QWET), which I will dissolve in butter then bake with. Last night, I made shortbread cookies. YUM!

Tonight, I'm pretty well vaped, edibled, and even just a touch toasted (shhhh!!!)... my daughter came to visit, and we had a very healing time... and I've needed just a bit of medication since. Good stuff, this plant.

I peeked in my kief catcher today and it's needing emptied, so of course I need to make room and clear out some existing stock. Had a sandwich of flower/quarter patty/flower in my Solo- two runs through at 3, and yes, this is another comment that's taking me centuries to type.
Now I'm gonna see Big Hero 6 in 3D! Happy Sunday all.

@Enchantre I'm imagining you rigging up some sort of contraption to be able to do dabs right off that blouse.

Perhaps you've invented a new way for us medical marijuana patients to get their medicating. We've got infused edibles so why not infused apparel?

Picked up a little bit of goodies at the market today... and have tested a couple of them :)

Picked up some really special (quality, not price!) hash today, in anticipation of the Vapman! I think it's kief infused (think, mushy lumps, yet really dense & firm) with BHO. And I think it's all Harle Tsu, too... though, it may just be grower's blend... that grower grew a Harle Tsu that was 12 ft high... I've seen the photos... and his meds are still from that plant. Anyway, I'm not sure how else one uses it, other than sprinkle it in Js, but I don't do that, so the VM sounds like the next best thing!

And WOW I wanna explain things. Oh, that must be the Snoop's Dream! That tastes way too good.

I'm bumping the thread for the first time today! Too busy/lazy to play on the pooter much. But while I was out I made an impulse purchase, in the form of a Magic Butter 2. It looks sorta/kinda like a coffee percolator, but inside is a heater, an immersion blender, and some macros for making oils, butters and tinctures, at 4 different temperatures. I've got 2 cups of MCT oil on a 4 hour cycle at 210f, with ~25g of herbs in there. A wide variety of strains... Frankenoil... And I'm purging some aged qwiso from 2 weeks ago... and we're decarbing 25g of high CBD buds... and I found a replacement burner bit for an oil pen. And threw the wife on a plane for a week. Time to make the house smell a bit skunky for a few days, and work on that ABV collection!
