Confession time, a Tera on a bong is the only vape that has actually knocked me out...twice. Once I awoke to find my bong and broken claisen adapter on the cement...the Tera was fine. The second time a friend caught me and the bong etc as I was collapsing into a campfire...brutal if you push it with primo buds.

Heh you're buying the entire Smiss / Flowermate arsenal?!
Can't fight the battle without the right weapons.

Today I am cleaning all my stems, my bong, and everything else; I need to keep myself busy. I'm thinking by Thursday I can start vaping again.

My advice with Tera take it easy if you use included wpa, the metal it’s made of acts as heat sink and gets f’ing hot and overheat the plastic at the top of the bowl causing it to crack and even break off. The 1st Tera is no longer useable because plastic broke off and exposed top of the bowl which could allow herb to get into the internals and a second one is slightly cracked but still useable. The alternative that I use is the short glass mp remove the glass and insert a adapter with a 9mm glass tube. 3rd one when the metal collar starting falling out, replaced with 10mm grommet and 14mm adapter from Starry adapter.AA35EF52-688B-49D8-905A-E8BC8EB8F673.jpeg

Source for 9mm 14/18mm adapters Planetvape, they make their own glass order 9mm 45degree adapters(out of stock right now) and add a note to the order asking for straight tube and length of tube section(I used 25mm). If you email them they will probably make you some, they make custom glass orders. They had them in stock when I ordered and did it a few time even some straight 12mm tube adapters.

The Tera arrived today!! The bowl seems huge. I have been using it exclusively through the bong since this morning and I am vaked.

I want to write more, but I'm not focused:ko:

The early version Teras had that problem, the WPA was changed to interference fit (the pressure not heat was the problem according to Eric at Boundless) instead of magnetic after some ham fisters kept knocking the unit off the wpa and making a mess.
This problem was supposed to be fixed on later models (I got a new unit for free) by reinforcing the area and neither of my latest units has any cracks and they only got used on a bong until lately (enjoying the Arizer stems of late). :2c:
Edit, just checked my units with a jewelers loop and found no cracks...bloody dirty through a magnifier though!

So anyone wavering on the 75.00 price on the website, reminder it doesn’t include shipping. But good news! Use the discount code “
YARMACRAZY” and take the price down to $60.00 so that with shipping you come in at $68.96!! Just ordered mine and figured anyone else on the fence might appreciate a $15 nudge...

Nah, I don’t think they fixed anything and I don’t understand the pressure thing, do you mean force? I‘ve had 5 Tera V3 and all the same(6th on the way couldn’t pass it up). I had one that came with a bad power button and was replaced. The metal wpa with pressure fit(o-ring) may be expanding to cause the cracks. I have a CFC 2.0 that comes with a plastic wpa and it expands so much that you can’t remove it till it cools. When it comes to wpa’ s and mp’s Boundless is pretty clueless and I wish they’d get some new direction in those areas, otherwise the smelly swivel mp’s not going to keep them in the game. Not good when a device needs to be modified before 1st use imo.
I have 5 wpa(soon6) that will never be used again, good only the screen I take off them.

Important thing I forgot to mention (memory not my best trait lately) I ran my Tera in concentrate mode 500`F vaping hash in my early days with the Tera using the wpa. My converted glass mp to wpa worked good for the Tera bowl plastic, but even these mp’s had problems with metal collar getting hot and the mount plastic weakens and the collar loses it’s pressed in hold and is unusable. I abused the Tera and exposed some weakness that it does not take kindly to the heat it can be subjected to. Too much plastic to run concentrate mode imo and the metal wpa not helping. I don’t use concentrate mode anymore and have better alternative vapes for hash though I still run herb/kief/hash bowls or hash pods in herb mode occasionally, but the Tera usually just herb now.

I had read something similar. I can see heat being a problem.

Just vaping with the glass mouthpiece, the Tera produces very nice vapor. I've notice that it cooks the herb differently. The AVB is a lighter colour than what I am used to, from the same temperature on other vapes. There are no black scorched pieces. Good cannabis is not wasted in this unit.

The screen at the bottom comes out when I clean. Any simple fix?

A Flowermate Nano just arrived, I had my first vape, it's nice, but the first experience with the Tera was better. It is a nice little unit, but it didn't immediately impress me.

One of the reasons I picked up a Tera was reading that it was hard hitting; it delivered on that. I didn't expect to actually enjoy vaping on the Tera, but I do. The Tera is very good.

My first impression of the Arizer Argo wasn't great, but once I learned how to the ArGo is best used, it isn't bad,

My first impression of the Flowermate 5 Pro was good, and I'm happy with the unit.

That is the end of my Black Friday purchases. No regrets, pockets are empty, but lots of toys to play with.

Sorry about that! But just think of it as an investment. Spending $60 now will save you from spending $200 later.... right? Right??
It is always a good investment.

It just makes sense; one gram of cannabis per day, per vape. More is always better? Am I off base here? Who can get by with one vape?

I got by with one vape....for about two years. Now I readily accept that I have too many of them. Someday I’ll thin it down, likely once I hit retirement in this next year. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of that first one, a Maple MFLB. Took a few sips earlier today in fact. I will say my wife is a lot happier with me couch locking at home rather than roaming the bar circuit or casinos. I’m happier about it too!

I'm retired, grow my own and figure vapes are a cheap hobby compared to some lol! I think I have several. A Tera, 2 CFX, An Arizer Argo, 2 Focus Pro, A Starry, three Dynavaps, and a Yocan Evolve Plus that I use just for bubble hash. Bought with money I don't spend at a dispensary lol.

I can relate. I've always liked gadgets and they are becoming a hobby.

Airflow in the Tera is excellent. I just had a wisdom tooth extracted, and sucking on a straw is specifically mentioned as something to avoid. I'm doing good, healing is in progress, so exercising caution just makes sense. I've been using my bong, but even with the glass mouthpiece, there is just inhaling, not sucking.

I've got a couple of Flowermates as part of my Black Friday shopping, but they have been used sparingly. The Flowermates do need some sucking to get vapor forming. By comparison, the Tera is effortless.
