You can pull the load out mid session or at the end of a session so the herb doesn't get anymore cooked. Better airflow as the screens are finer. More convection on first hits. You can fill a few ELB's to take on a trip. It stretches your herb more then as you turn it more on demand ( put the ELB in when the unit is up to heat rather than from start of heat-up)using elb vs stock cfx besides convienance of the of the elb being filled, and getting honey, any other Benefits? How is the condition of herb after a session, the same? Are you getting the same amount of clouds?
No stirring with the CFX and ELB's. The Herb is cooked evenly. Thanks for answering my questions on elb, but what is the quality of the herb after used using elb? Nice and brown or still has some green? Do you have to stir like cfv? I don't like stirring...
I haven't used this mod, but I would imagine it also keeps the chamber of the CFX nice and clean. Mine looks like shit lol.
That's how I use mine, ELB's all the way. I secretly hope the mini bubbler has the same configuration as that will be whipped off as soon as it arrives and replaced with an ELB cover (hope it then fits the CFX with no other modding)For those using the ELBs with the CF/X, are you also using it with the top-hat on the bucket and the filter unscrewed from the WPA when bubbling it through water? Thats the best way to go I've found, you get great airflow and zero clogs to deal with.
Southern Chef, if you place a screen in the mp and one in the WPA, the screens collect reclaim. When the screen gets gooey, fold it up and vape it. Or soak it in grain alcohol to make a tincture. Doc
Great question, would love someone to do a proper test and then with the ELB method to see how more efficient it is.This thread has been a little dormant, i know i know we are all enjoying our cfx. I found this nice vid, pretty funny too! I'm curios does anyone know the ratio between convection and conduction on these excellent units.
