If waxdab23's answer isn't enough - which do you have? They're very different mouthpieces. The CFX one you can soak the whole thing minus the rubber ring that goes around it, the CFV you should only pop off the mouthpiece you put your lips on from the main mouthpiece assembly. You can unscrew the mouthpiece filter and clean it with ISO as well, and use qtips to ISO around that area. You should not use ISO on the CFV mouthpiece assembly outside parts though as it will strip the paint if you have a red unit especially.

Only the very top on CFV and be soaked in ISO. The rest needs to be cleaned with a q tip and ISO. If any ISO gets on the exterior finish other than the very tip it'll bubble and get all damaged.

Planet of the Vapes was given a set date, but unforeseen circumstances have caused a delay in getting the Boundless CFC shipment into their hands. Many customers were expecting their CFC before Christmas, unfortunately Boundless Technology is not going be able to uphold this expectation. We aimed to provide a smooth pre-order for Planet of the Vapes and their customers however with regret, we were not able to deliver on our expected shipping date due to delays in quality control at our manufacturing factory. Quality control has been doing their best to deliver a reliable and efficient product. Extra time was needed to guarantee that the CFC will be providing an overall experience that is up to date with the latest in battery and aromatherapy technology. All of us at Boundless take pride in our products and customer satisfaction. We do our best to provide the vaporizer community with devices to make the experience more comfortable and interactive. Unfortunately we were not able to provide the CFC pre-order customers and our partner in this pre-order, Planet of the Vapes, a noteworthy experience and in no intentions meant to provide false claims. We thank you for your support and will do our best to satisfy those involved in the CFC pre-order.

I've worked for cutting edge tech manf companies (telcom network infrastructure) for a long time and craps happens.

What I admire, Boundless, is; 1) your commitment to quality is such that you will delay shipments to rectify and; 2) you come on here with an open and honest mea culpa (through my fault) to your customer community.

That's a huge part of how to be successful right there.

Some of the reviews on vaporizer sites I've read regarding the CFV are giving mixed feelings. One in particular from planet of the vapes that the battery is only good for one session. Other reviews state that the battery is garbage. I though the battery was better than that.

To be honest the battery is to me the top cons of this model. That and the draw resistance (but the latter is subjective and a personal preference)

The problem is that with the freely selectable temperature, it's tempting to use this vape like you would do with a conduction one: temperature stepping, starting low and slowly getting higher until depleted. But when you do that, you get only two bowls per charge. And you better not have the second one last too long or it will die on you before it's over.

Now if you like to cash your bowls fast and/or enjoy starting directly at high temperatures and skip the flavor-chasing low temp levels, you should get more bowls per charge. And even more if you micro-dose on top of that...

I have to force myself to do shorter sessions, it's a bit of a shame because the taste is so good, it makes me want to sip it for 20+ minutes like I do with my FM5-Pro/Mini-Pro/Ascent etc.

Can you use a Extreme q elbow screen in the CFV mouthpiece for better airflow? Still waiting on my unit

How does the boundless cfx with the elb mod compare to the cfv? Does it help make flavor last longer, or help conserve herb lIke the cfv? What benefits does this elb mod do exactly to improve the he cfx?

Stays cleaner longer. Quick reloads on the go. Pull the load in middle of session to cool for later or change strains. Doc

Has anyone tried the boundless herb pods?

As soon as they arrive I'll buy a few. I have about ten for my flowermates and I use them a lot. They make the vaping experience different from just herb in oven. Smooth and just nice. Takes just a little more heat but they are handy and seldom need cleaning.

I "black friday" ordered the CF. I have the CFX, love it. The ELBs are great for on the go. Just load up an empty cigar tube with filled ELBs.
Something is wrong with the Boundless site. I can not pull up the CF manual for some reason. Anybody have a link that works? Thanks. Doc

Just read the CF manual. What's with the temperature conversion on page six. 355 F is not 213C They are reversed. Where's a proof reader when you need them? Doc

There were several mistakes in both the original CFX/CF and Hybrid manual too Doc, nice catch there though :)

You can use the Extreme Q bucket to replace the mouthpiece filter on the CF/X. It gives particularly good airflow if you had the original CF. Units shipped after July 2016 or so have the updated mouthpiece which has better airflow so theres less benefit there.
