Battery Free Ganz - The Flare Induction heater

So I own the first iteration of the Flare, you know, the one that doesn’t really work with anything you want it to work with. Have they made hardware changes to the newer versions or is it mainly firmware? I wonder if the firmware is updatable?

Apparently bfg are releasing a new induction heater next month. Suppose to not be as powerful as the flare but will still work with the fusion. Anyone heard anything about this?

Have had The Flare for several months. Running latest Molicel batteries and an exteral charger. I really like it. 3 strong batteries provide good intervals between charges. I love the adjustablility, auto sensing, and timer. Works great with my collection of Simrell and Dynavaps. It doesn't like the Camouflet vapes but I have the Wand which does that job well. My only gripe is the depth adjustment. The range of the adjustment is not worth bothering with. Overall a solid positive and I have retired my previous 2 IH units.

I have the first iteration and they work. Limited, but work. Anvil coopercore 120W, tempest 60-70W, Convector XL 70W.... I think he has the second iteration or a defective one

@Tji89 For what i know, the yllih 3.0 works more like the wand but with 2x21700, timer, etc... So it works better with more magnetizable materials but maybe it gives less power with other materials (for example, the fusion 2 would work at 60-70W, but the tempest could work at 100W).
