If you get the conical wand setup, they're almost exactly the same, with the SS on an incline to help keep the weed out of the heater (not an issue with the DBV if you lightly tamp your load), otherwise, the same heater, electrics, etc. The SS can be used with a couple different heater cover/wand options not available for the DBV. The SS is their premier vape so it has a ton of heady glass modifications they make for them (knobs, wands, etc), if you look forward to that.I could use some advice choosing between two vapes.
I like the power of the ballvapes, i expect, but it has to be very simple and safe.
I'm in the EU so the choice is limited.
I can buy the Silver surfer with baller updat for aprox. € 345 .
The Da budhha for € 190 without the baller upgrade, can't find this anywhere in EU.
Recommendedvapesupplies.uk does sell the buddha and the upgrade, but since brexit it is a pain to import from the UK,
i guestimate to pay aprox.at least € 380 . plus long wait for customs clearance.
Two questions:
1.Anyone knows a eu shop which sells the Buddha baller upgrade?
Weed costs 5.50 euro gram, so being able to use small doses is a must.
- What pro's and con's between these two vapes?
Thanks
One more thing: it's possible to set your DBV up as a baller without the baller cover. You'll find the baller mod described here or on reddit. Basically you shape a couple screens, one to block the heat intake hole on the neck of the heater cover, and one larger one to fit at the back of the 19mm female output, with balls filling the cover between. It works well but I'm not gonna lie, it can be a little janky compared to the Baller Heater Cover. Still I set mine up that way and used it for a year or two before the new one arrived--it was great.Thank you for the input, i did read your experiences on the Buddha thread, great info.
Shipping from the usa is expensive, again, import hassles.
I have seen all of my enail/ball vape coils glow during initial heat up from cold many times. It is typically in a dark room or very low light. Most of the time I don't see it. I chalk that up to too much ambient light or I'm just not in the room.Is it normal for the coil to glow sometimes at the initial heat up?
There are 2 da buddha on leboncoin, a second hand mkt place in France. Both €100.I could use some advice choosing between two vapes.

I got my da buddha baller upgrade from recommendedvapesupplies.co.uk, and I don't know how they made it, but I didn't have to pay any further fees/taxes to Germany. Just saying. I was quite happy with it, but there is noticeably more draw resistance than in a regular ball vape, which unfortunately made me put it in my closet again. I may consider selling it in the near future, maybe we can work something out, not 100 % sure though yet.I could use some advice choosing between two vapes.

Didn’t take, for me. Found it hard to get the heating right, and the vapor wasn’t good enough to make futzing with it worthwhile. Certainly not about to pay another near 200 bucks for minor upgrades. I’m trying to get off the version 1 VAS train. It’s almost always been disappointing.More VerdaVaps in stock, with a new wood:
These are wonderful, powerful, torch-heated ball vapes. As you can see, they are so awesome they levitate. ; )
Isn't the graveda essentially the tiodw mini just rebranded? Except you mean the graveda epic, which is also probably just something rebranded but I don't know much about that.but am I the only one here with a tiodw? I have the v3 in titanium with rubies and also the ceramic version and zirconia spheres, do you think it's poor, could I buy better at a similar price? here in EU I saw the graveda, it seems very good I was thinking of buying it later but I don't know if it changes much from what I already have
precisely if I have to buy another ball vape I would like some improvements compared to the tiodw which still hits hard...in EU would be the rubylizer from lacentralvapeur but I'm not sure how much of an up- or downgrade that would be to yopur tiodw.
Different bowls, pipes, wet/dry, etc. The 19mm will drive a Sticky Brick. Not sure they're upgrades, but more additional fun I guess. After owning the Omega for a couple of months now... I'm really wondering whether there really is a noticeable upgrade option. I honestly can't imagine getting much better(if any) than the omega? Flavor is excellent, it handles tiny amounts perfectly, even using it wireless with a big bowl and the diffuser head.
Would it make more sense to just play around different bowl options? Maybe even different ruby options?
