Hey vapefriends, just wanted to share a tip about using the screen. Last I checked it was a bit of a mystery as to where they're supposed to go, and when I got mine today I discovered it isn't even mentioned in the instruction manual, ha. And when I got bits of herb flying into my mouth halfway through my first session I knew I had to do something.
Anyway, you can fit them directly in front of the 4-hole glass screen part. The small circular size perfectly fits into the rubber casing around the glass tube, covering all 4 holes, and allowing the bottom case to be closed while upright, creating no problems when loading/unloading and making your mouth happier while vaping with this excellent little piece of machinery. Apologies if this is already known (I didn't see it anywhere though). If anyone wants to chime in as to why this might be a bad idea for the device (damage or something), that's welcomed.
Also, just cause it's funny, here's a pic of the back of my Ascent:
The Ascent logo is upside down! That's $250 for ya! I considered sending it back, but was waiting so damn long for it to arrive that I had to fire it up. Works totally fine. Anyone know if it can be safely pried off and just re-glued on the right way? I'm wary of trying to rip it off and damaging something important.
