He's alluding to the Cera, which has a base price of $250 that doesn't include the battery and charger, for the benefit of people who already owned suitable batteries or a charger. Initially they weren't included by default but now there are and removing them is an option. I'd be surprised if they were advertising a price on facebook that didn't include batteries. Why would they not include that?
Well ... everyone's own perspective of the Universe is essentially creating their own reality and therefore everyone is ultimately the center of their own Universe ... perspective is everything@paka...what do you mean we aren't the center of the universe...I thought we were
I don't see the post on fb...so 250 no charger hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I was hoping they would change that plug as well but oh well.
On their Facebook page. 2nd most recent post, it's one of the comments.Where does it say $250? I cant find the post.
Not to burst your bubble or anything there, nigel, but FC actually isn't the centre of the universe, not even the vapourizing universe. Compared to Facebook, we're a tiny fragment of their potential market. We might tend to be more knowledgeable abut so what? If they don't sell two or three orders of magnitude more units to Facebook members compared to FC members, I will be astounded.
The good news is the price....
The bad news is the date: I just booked a flight to Amsterdam for the last week of march. Doesn't look like my ascent will be with me by that date, specially because I need it sent to Europe.... It's a pity, its long batteries would surely do a great service there.
I hope that after the Vegas tradeshow, the manuf will reappear and give us all the details, specially a hard date.
just saw this on Facebook:
DaVinci Vaporizer Pricing update- we will be releasing the Ascent Vaporizer at $249!
WOOO-HOOO!!!!!
when i replied to their FB comment i got this comment back:
DaVinci Vaporizer We'll be shipping by end of March, stay tune for a hard date.
now can i get a double WOOO-HOOO!!!
Thanks for the heads up! That's very awesome. I would suspect they would come with batteries and charger and can be charged while in the device, IIRC. Hope the reviews are awesome and I get to see clouds.
Inhalater battery IS user replaceable.i believe the cells are internal and not user replacable. like pax and INH... so they will def come with the vape.
My Home is in the middle of My WORLD Map!!!Well ... everyone's own perspective of the Universe is essentially creating their own reality and therefore everyone is ultimately the center of their own Universe ... perspective is everything
so many different lengths and the short ones end up not being able to hang.

Not bursting my bubble at all, as I, or presumably anyone that possesses faculties sufficient enough to cloth themselves and not make messes in the house, realize that the FB audience is significantly larger.
But I guess the level of sophistication to realize that also implies one recognize that there is value in a smaller audience that is a qualified target demographic. Essentially, you have an extremely well vetted focus group here. And vocal too, which gives you a chance to get proponents (free spokes people) out there...once you get a unit into someone's hand.
HINT HINT: Where is the FC contest we were promised would be out several weeks ago?
In fact the company *has* been using us for input on the device, and I think that is a great thing.
So, yes the FB audience is huge, and you will get more sales over-all from that group. And I never suggested NOT marketing to that audience. But there is a different value to be had from this audience, particularly in the early days of a product. It is a quality vs quantity distinction.
The core audience here are most likely to be decision makers and decision influencers.
One well-reasoned, informed, and articulate review here (Don't mean to single out FC as I realize there are other good vape boards, but I like the people here.) is worth 1,000 "Likes." Hell, one review here consisting of nothing other than "Fuck yeah!!!!" I consider to be more informative than said likes.
Inhalater battery IS user replaceable.
...but I'm pretty sure Organicix has taken that into consideration and did not agree with your conclusion, since they posted on FB first.
