Have you actually tried them? The looks suspiciously like the pair I bought from them a while back.....absolute junk, really. Notice how thick the bowl walls are in the second photo? That is not a good sign. More over, only one fit in only one Solo as they were also out of round and belled (wider at the opening than further up).
Hopefully that's been fixed, but the photos don't inspire confidence.

I suggest others resist the urge to 'save some money' until we get a confirmation it's not a bad quality part.....like the ones I got?
FWIW, the two I got from PIU are much better IMO, still not up to Arizer/PIU standards. For a 'poor man's GonG' I still suggest the plastic topped Air stem. It's ten bucks, first quality, fits the Arizer like it's made to and mates well with 14mm GonG fittings.

I would like to see Arizer make GonGs for the Solo and the AA. Not sure why they don't add that to their accessory line? It must be difficult because you don't see them except through PV.
It would be nice to have cheaper options as long as they fit well. Need to have adequate airflow but not too much. @Matt73

If they'd notified me when they got these like they said they would, (after canceling my order without notice), I wouldn't have 2 different ones from elsewhere in the mail now. They look ok, but no grooves and with shipping still a little more expensive than the cheap one from Aliexpress.

Just because the GonGs are cheaper that doesn't equal a good product. I would be curious if the ones at Allexpress originated from the same company as Dhgate. They are probably Chinese made. I will wait to see what you guys find out about the quality.

I just assumed that since they're all coming from China they are all Chinese made. In the end it's all about air flow and robustness, and in the pictures the SSS one may have the edge in the latter, but it's hard to say without having them in hand. If they'd told me I would have bought 2. The stem I've found that gives me the best draught is a short straight one without tip, really loose but that's probably why it works so well. It's my current favourite without a water tool.
This morning I had a conversation with Sunshinestore. They say that it is a bowl for tabacco and it is a bit too small for the Solo (probably same design like they had before available). We agreed to cancel the order, so I just made the refund request. SSS is really a nice company with good costumer support, what a pity they don't produce a gong.I just have ordered the sss gong. In a month I can give feedback

My current solution is to just stick the long Solo stem in the 14mm joint from the D020-D. It is wiggly, but I can hold and manipulate the stem for better airflow.

The (Ed's adapter) the WonG is 18mm - that is what the D020 bubbler requires. A GonG would be an adapter made of glass. They usually come in 2 sizes 18 and 14mm. My bubbler acts like it was made for the Solo.
For me the D020 doesn't work as well with my Enano. Perfect volume for the Solo but not the nano.

The Ed's WonG was a specialty order. The WonGs come in the 2 inch size. i wanted a 3 inch size so it works better for using it as a mouthpiece as well. Also my piece has a turquoise inlay which cost more. Give @Ed's TnT a PM he will set you up.

Or a Solo in the cup. This is a Solo inside a McDonalds cup. There is an insulation band around the Solo for padding. I poked holes in the bottom.

Just buy that black Solo for your backup. I did, nice having both colors for those that can't make up their mind. Glad I had the extra one when a battery went down in one after 2 years. I rotate the Solos. I use one while the other charges. My take on "charge while using".

I think this is an idea I might use. Thank you. My current black solo is coming up on 2 years old in July (i just checked my invoice on the company I bought it off's site). I've noticed it's not holding it's charge as well as it used to and that's ok, I think 2 years for a product that I have used every day and sometimes many times a day is pretty good and it's still fine and works great, but I may buy a silver one to give the older black one a break and incase of it dying or something happening to it. and me being without for a while till the order arrived.
I would have my EQ as a back up if my current black solo died but I am so accustomed to using solo all around my house, inside and out that I wouldnt wont to have to use my EQ every day for a while. I actually havent used my EQ in ages now, probably over a year. My solo gets all the use.
