I domed one of those 1/2" PV screens slightly with a sharpie and used the end of the sharpie (not the point) to shove it all the way up the bottom of the f-bomb. In addition to the other screen in the gong, it seems to be keeping the tube a lot cleaner. But yea, a little salt and iso, shake it up (while covering both ends....add a little hot water after a bit...shake more..

Very impressed with everything (Solo/PA/f-bomb,gong) though and thanks to all you guys for the good info to be had.

Thinking about getting a shorty gong for smaller loads and just to have a backup anyways. You think it makes a difference if you pack a small amount in a reg gong vs a shorty ?

Was gonna go with a turbo too, just to get something different. (plus it's prob easier to clean) But I guess the conciseness is...too much air flow for the Solo ? I guess you can just slow your draw, but then what's really the point of getting it ? Anyway, thought it might be good with the bomb, but I don't mind the slower draw as I've been using the as my main vape for years. Although, I think the PD might be collecting some dust now the Solo's in town. The PD is great when it comes to efficiency though. That's what I'm wondering about with with solo and the shorty gong, will it be as good with small amounts ?

Also, will a gong fit in that travel tube and should i get more o-rings while I'm placing an order ? (have one that came with it)

Anyways, test tube vials for storing and cleaning the mouthpieces, regular strait stem,where can I get these, Amazon? what size would I have to get? Thanks for your help folks! I'm learning so much!

if all you want are travel tubes and you don't want ti pay and wait for shipping, I have been using the plastic tube from a gas station cigar and it works great, I think mine is from a white owl. If you are already ordering from PV though I would go with one of those tubes

You can get the test tubes on line even on amazon...they are just two liter bottles before they are blown up.

it does it to me all the time and it never used to. a few months ago the update added a bunch of words (like abd) to the dictionary and I can't get rid of them now.

I like to think of the all in one vape

• I like to think of a vapour lung mod as a mini bag like think or big one if you can find a bottle that's big a nuff

and its not just that its the way it works so well and effort-less its just a all round top vape.

for those using the oring mod and liking it... try a washer instead of an oring. its grips the stem better as it has more surface area that contacts the stem. ive tried both and much prefer the washer.

i will post a link later today to places online to find the washers. you are looking for an extreme high temp silicone washer (orange-red in color) w/ the correct ID. thickness should be 3/16.

One thing on clickers comment which is very true is that all solo openings are not created equal...btw thanks clicker.
I have an oring on one and a washer in the other as the oring didn't work it was to big. The washers have a smaller ID so if you have a small diameter blown stem and a slightly bigger diameter of the crucible the washer is the choice for you.

got me that solo 2 months ago, at first it was a bigger step, but i'm too glad that i "risked" this investment.
so, since im enjoying watervaping a lot (only a jar for jam with a hole for the straight stem and another one for a small whip) i was wondering if that female gong adapter from PV would fit onto my hookah?
(theres this gumy/silicon thing where the pot goes onto it)
is anyone experienced with hookahs and vapes in general? i dont see a problem there, maybe a lil resin buildup.

I have been so busy!
Two more days and things should be back to normal. (should be!)

I have had no time to document the Trials of TIM's PA.
However I have been using it for the last morsel of MAUI Wowie OG.
In to the WHITE WINDOW OG and it is off the charts. Desert!
GODS GIFT gets me way over medicated and I can't function during the day if I vape it!
OG I'm saving for making wax.
Tonight I had a stem with CHILLUM for the tip.
Had a screen with a large mesh size from PLANET VAPES.
I just love the way it draws.

Glass against the Lips is my preference.

All I need now is some GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!

I forgot my replacement charger at the cottage after the weekend. I pulled out the old "non-working" charger and it works fine. I tried everything before buying the replacement. I wonder what the issue with the stock charger is...

It's a shame really....I was looking for an excuse to buy one of those AIOs

Thanks to Pipes I got his AIO unit,
A kind soul here sent me some o rings
Got the Fbomb and Turbo GonG from Planet vapes
and my Solo from allstarvapes for $139... nice!

The setup works like a charm, now I'm trying to figure out the load and how much I need for myself, or when I share with my wife...

But all in all a nice setup. We plan to keep the original davinci for car use, and leave the solo for Home, and for travel destinations ie. hotels etc...

Generally it's marginal output voltage. My guess is one is Solo is less sensitive to the exact value than the other. I'd expect the 'magic number' to vary a percent or two at least unit to unit, the key is to stay away from the threshold by a reasonable safety margin so that doesn't matter. I think some of the chargers drifted too low? Or some Solos are a bit higher than others?

I think you've still got a good reason, aside from backup charger you get all those other options, including car charging.....you can be topped up and ready to vape by the time you get to the cabin......

So I woke up this morning feel the same way I have for the last few weeks...with a decision dilemma.
Ever since I broke my dry path I have used all the other water paths I own and even some other dry ideas but nothing was like a cold J-hook right out of the freezer every morning. Today my ALT package came.....dry path love!!!! 2 at a time. Some robot on this forum got me to bust out my j-hook a while back and now I am in love......( tried to arrange them to make a glass heart). this was my first ever order from ALT and id say it was a good experience (except high prices).

Did your Solo from allstarvape.com come with two bent glass straws (like it says in their listing) or one bent and one straight glass straw like it's supposed to?

Can't blame the seller for "lost in USPS" on eBay. Although the last time something was "lost by USPS" in one of my transactions, it turns out the seller's warehouse had the e-ship info, but it didn't leave the docks.
