Just ordered a black SOLO from Puff It Up, along with the power adapter. Looking forward to trying it out.

there really aren't many problems, most off the recent problems can be attributed to a faulty batch of chargers, not the unit itself. That doesn't mean the occasional faulty unit won't make it through quality control but from what I have read here arizer has excellent customer service. Another thing to remember is all li-ion batteries eventually wear out but if/ when it happens the battery is pretty easily replaced. So just how common are problems with the Solo? I've seen a fair number of reported issues with the electronics and battery but the unit's functionality appeals.
depends on your habits, how often do you charge it how far are you draining it, how full are you charging it, OF posted a chart within the past couple weeks about the life of li-ion batteries. IIRC though the battery does have a one year warranty and should last much longer than that. Think about cell phone batteries which are also li-ion, if you keep your phone long enough before upgrading, you will eventually needed to replace the battery before the phone itself stops working. Also it has been pointed out that if the battery does die the unit will continue to work with a PA.What kind of lifespan do the Solo batteries have?
I would guess the little bit the PA " uses" is actually just what the battery would discharge naturally. According to OF, if you discharge the battery completely each time you use it and recharge it back to 95% each time you will get the best life cycle out of it. Alternatively if you don't discharge it completely you will also increase the number of charges the battery is good for. Doing both though isn't effective, you may get more charges out of it but theactual time using the battery won't improveSo in theory ... now that I'm using the PA everytime (well almost, only in weekends I take it outdoor)
When should I charge my solo? because it does take a little bit of the battery each PA session...
Well, a few people died but as a survivor i can say that i'm quite happy of the productSo just how common are problems with the Solo? I've seen a fair number of reported issues with the electronics and battery but the unit's functionality appeals.
The highest temperature on the solo is listed at 410f which is more than enough for most people. If you get too much higher than that you start to run the risk of combustion. Thanks for the replies. How is the Solo for high-temp vaporization? To this day I still like the effects of combustion as some of the cannabinoids which produce the effects I want only vaporize at higher temperatures.
For reference the other portables I've shortlisted are the Hammer and the glass Vaporgenie as both are capable of full, rapid extraction to the point of combustion.
Oh I wouldn't even try what Centizen is doing I would just buy a ready made battery pack for it. Then you can just unscrew it & swap out the battery. I wouldn't have the first clue about making my own battery pack.Clouded, I am coming to your house when my battery dies. Changing the battery is easy for some but not for me and others hence the centizen battery replacement thread. I can't even get those screws out on the bottom cause they are tight and I am afraid to strip them.
Try to reset it. Plug it in, wait for the beep to start then hold both buttons for about 4 seconds until it stops beeping, wait 10 seconds then unplug it.Hey people! Been an Arizer Solo owner for almost a year and this unit is amazing. Unfortunately, my Arizer solo just stopped working. When I turned on the unit, I noticed the charge led light was emitting RED instead of the usual GREEN. So i immediately said to myself this is bad. Turns out the unit won't heat anymore and when I charge it, I get a continuous beep with the charge led still emitting RED... Has anyone encountered this? Much appreciated.. I am very sad.. I just wanna vape my Solo =((
as an IT Professional that works with both IT people and Non-IT people..... I LOVE Let Me Google That For You!!! does piss some people off if they don't take it the right way

Hi OF:I understand what drives it and all, but as you say it's sure to piss some guys off and about half the links there aren't even appropriate?
IMO a simple 'yes there is' or just staying silent is going to be more productive than poking fun at an honest question. I just don't see that as being really useful I guess (at least not as useful as other approaches). I want guys to feel comfortable at asking questions, don't you?

Question for you is:
ISO did not work?
Denatured Alcohol gave a off flavor.
The only thing I would think of was to get psychical.
Is there an easier way?
I had to scrub with the grinder wheel and it is like brand new clean.Beats me what it could be, did you put oil or hash in it?
I'm not so sure I'd have gone after it mechanically, it looks to me like there's some sort of coating on it? Is the spot you scrubbed the same color as the rest?
