I have the M1A, no probs yet in 3 weeks, probably vaped 50 bowls, maybe more

I like the PA as well, don't have to charge it as often but I also think it'll prolong the life of the battery

The Solo's battery on my M1A is still pretty good so I don't use it much, mainly only in a pitch

I agree, the only thing I don't like is the inaccuracy of the M1A battery meter.

IMO Arizer should just include the Power Adapter. It's become such an integral part of my Solo vaping experience.

$35 with the discount. I know of a few people who got it for $24, but that probably won't happen again. I always tell people it may not be necessary, but it's necessary for me

I ordered a PVHES 14mm Turbo, LoPro Adapter, and Power Brick today, super stoked. 75 shipped isn't half bad for making the solo into a very versatile portable!

I'm guessing here but I don't think there is enough resistance w/. 18mm.

Thinking bout nice downstem in there and using me 14mm gong.

kingofnull are the gongs thicker then the stock or the same just out of curiosity. I suppose they take a bit more of a beating cause they are shorter. My glass dishes aren't as thick as the stock stems. They do need it though cause of all the moving we do when vaping. Even the gong has to be thick.

The old style are the same thickness until you get to the seam between the stock stem (since they are just stock stems) and the GonG. But they aren't as long, and the GonG portion is super thick. This, plus the glass pinches on the side help provide shock and anti-roll protection.

I'm hoping the new ones will be slightly thicker all around.

Never. The GonG portion doesn't even get warm, even with all day use. The only area that ever gets hot for me is the clear glass close to the metal cap on the Solo. And I can still usually touch that area unless I've been chain hitting through glass.

Vaping is like fine wine IMO. First you drink the cheap stuff, level 7, then you go for the finer stuff 3 to 4. This is without a water piece of course. Yes you will get bigger clouds but IMO better medicated at 3. 7 taste like crap if you are doing it straight anyhow.

I agree, but they don't believe me when I say they don't need the smog effect with a vape.
And even at 7, they rarely listen to my critiquing and complain over poor results...I've tried!

Armerad then don't try. If you aren't using the solo right you won't get anything. The clouds on the solo at even 4 or 5 are huge if you take a long slow inhale. That is not my thing but I have done it by accident. I even get good ones at 3, well good for what I want. I want all my meds in me not out in the universe. They will eventually get frustrated and either learn or keep combusting.

All I can say is when I first started vaping I am like ok this is kewl. MFLB was my first and it worked for a quick hit in public when I needed it. Then I got the DV and so on and so on. I didn't stop combusting till I got the INH. I can go through the reasons but I am not sure it is important. It started with something OF said and went from there.

I went from the MFLB to the EQ to the Solo. I stopped combusting somewhere in the EQ timeframe, and I agree on the lower temperatures.

Well I'm only in and out done for some things. Not everything.

As to wine...I used to stomp grapes for my grandpa. He always used a juice glass to drink it, never a fancy wine crystal. So yeah, I am pretty salt of the earth about my sauce.

I don't recommend this unless you know what you're doing but if anyone out there needs to know: A fully charged 7.9v power pack lit up a 12v halogen lamp bulb for about 20-25 minutes before shutting itself off.
The battery pack got only slightly warm during the entire operation - the bulb and the jig used to hold it got very hot. Those power packs are dangerously juicy things and I'd advise extreme caution.

Replaced everything, recharged the li-po and....drum roll....no change. I've got a bad one - it's on its way back to the supplier who has agreed to ship me another one as soon as it arrives....

If they're of a mindset determined on SMOKE=EFFECT and unwilling to experience an alternative enlightenment, there is nothing you can do for them to change their train of thought (refer to signature ?? ).

WoW..... I choked my brains out, and hated the taste when I first got my Solo and was experimenting. Even through water the taste made me disappointed with the flavour & unsatisfied because it ruined my experience. Each to their own obviously come into play here

I use the M102 (with a gradually depleting function battery lately), at a start of setting #2 with its visual yet light/wispy vapor for the flavour and pleasant heightening for a couple pulls, then to #3 for a further climb until the flavour starts to drop off and vapor thins, and will finish off on #5 until the taste changes to a level I don't find appeasing.

EDIT added: I do this normally through 1 1/4 activation or so (approx 15-16 mins of on time)

When I vape through a bub with the Solo, I'll start at #5 until I feel it's as far as I want to go on it.

My VapePoo comes out tan vaping, and tan to brown vape-bonging.

Does a body, mind, and soul GOOD !

I do 3-7 on the hash I have been getting lately. 2 sessions per heat level. .3 hash lasts me all day and I only pack my solo once, with super fat hits.
