Just got a solo works awesome! Quick question I have it set @5 temp when using it is it normal for the led lights to decrease to lower numbers then go back to 5 or whatever I had it set at while using it

It is normal for that to happen. Try drawing slower and let it heat back up for a little before taking another draw. You will notice as your session goes on the temp LEDs will not drop as much from a single pull. Mine drop a lot at the beginning and won't drop as much towards the end of the session.

It sounds like a duff unit, though I have not tried the new design solo. I have the older version and it produces noticeable vapour in levels 2-3-4 . I found level 5 gives thick clouds and best taste, I tend only to use levels 6-7 if I am in a hurry or if outside in near freezing conditions.

I feel Solorized right now! I've been very happy with the PVHES mouthpieces and the gongs. I have the older Solo that I bought last July. When ordering, order a few pieces to make the shipping price worthwhile. I like that I don't have to work so hard when I take a draw.
I had put my Solo in semi retirement in a drawer for a while. I really liked how it medicated, but due to the years of combusting, I don't think my lungs are as strong as they used to be. The draw seemed too much work for me. But now with the PVHES glass, I feel like its a new unit, the draw is perfect for me. I have been using them with my Solo for about 6 weeks.
If it looks like PV says out of stock, keep trying. It is well worth the effort and the price for shipping.

@Kaptan you didn't hype this setup up enough. Its WAY better than a stock stem! Hell, I may like using my Solo through this better than my bubbler!!!

No joke, level 6/7 through this is like hitting level 3/4 on a stock stem because of the added cooling the extra mass/surface area/distance affords. Whats more, I can cache a load FAST with this thing. Massive clouds to be sure just like Kaptan said earlier... and the flavor retention is BADASS.

Pro tip: I tired to lightly pack a gong load the first time (little restriction). Got whispy hits. Crammed a gong full the next time (same restriction as a stock stem) and HOLY SHIT!

Even though the shipping maybe high the price is really cheap for the bubbler, I've heard a lot of positive about it, even though its cheap its not cheaply made.
Stickstones mentioned it on another thread and ive heard other FCrs talk good things about it. The website said that the first of Feb. was holiday time in China so deliveries would take longer. I just was wondering about security when using a credit card.

love that video with the bubbler, think I might know what I am going to buy now. The only thing, everyone I have seen doing it does it at level 7, at this heat you will be getting the benzine coming through which would take the point out of vaporising for some people. Also I am confused about that, I have seen it written that benzine doesn't appear in cannabis vapour to about 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 210-220 c, but when I looked up the boiling point of benzine it said 80c which is well below minimum vaping temperature, so maybe it doesn't make a great deal of difference

I wouldn't be to bothered but the gong size is different so would have to spend and extra £25 if I wanted to eventually get both and/or a bubbler

Really? I have been using the cloud mouthpiece for a few months but IMO PNWT>mouthpiece all day. One thing I notice is the PNWT is very finicky with water levels perhaps some of the complaints are due to that (or maybe I just got a well made one?)

I was just never able to get the clouds out of the PNWT that I can with my bubbler and now the VXC MP. The unit it self never leaked or had any other functionality issues AFAIK.
Maybe user error... but regardless I obviously found easier methods (for me).

Im using a PVHE 14mm with an adapter; I use the adapter with my larger pinnacle 18mm tube as well. I really like the cloud stem but the MP is alittle bit awkward too me but its nice when I want to sit in the lazyboy and vap like a boss haha
