Thanks @cawshook. I'm definitely interested in this pipe. I've heard it described as a j-hook with water. I love the draw on my PNWT but would rather not have my head down in the typical "crunched over a bong" druggie posture.
While I'm here I would like to comment on the M1D2. While I don't have an old model, I have made some observations that I think will still be relevant.
I used the stock stem for the first time last week after using the high efficiency stem, GonG and stealth adapter only since getting the solo. There was a big difference between the resistance of the stock stem and the PVHES. The PVHES is much more comfortable for me. I also get bigger clouds with the PVHES.
I also noticed that you get thicker vapour with the stock stem, but it limits you from getting as much vapour as you can with a bit longer draw with the PVHES. The stock stem simply stops you from taking in as large a volume of air and vapour as you do with the PVHES unless you pull super hard on it.
I think that the stock would be better for taking short, sharp pulls, while the PVHES is better for longer, more relaxed draws. I've tried pulling pretty hard on the PVHES and haven't got to the point where the clouds thinned out compared to a slower draw.
All this said, the stock stem works like a PVHES if you just lift the stem a little. I find that this works best by using an o-ring to hold the stem just where you want it.
Cheers
