So bummed right now. Love my Solo and use it everyday. Picked it up on 4/20, but yesterday it just stopped working. Worked fine in the morning but while using yesterday evening it just turned off. Tried turning it on and it makes the starting noise then goes right back off. Put it on the charger and it just keeps making noise. I know this has probably been answered but it seems Im going to have to get in touch and have it sent back to be fixed. Anyone experience this before? So bummed.

@GeneGreen23 try resetting it first, plug it in, press both buttons for about 4 seconds which should stop the beeping, wait ten seconds, unplug it then you should be able to plug it back in

Hey All, Finally made an account after lurking on these forums for about 4 months. I bought a solo at the beginning of the summer and it has quickly become my favorite vape (over my MFLB) and daily driver. Yesterday I got an Ed's TNT stem in the mail and quickly ran into the loose O-ring issue. I have noticed in the past that people say the Danco #11 fit but is undesirable because its made of rubber. I looked on Homedepot (http://www.homedepot.com/p/DANCO-11-O-Rings-10-Pack-96728/100552269#.UhYJABukpVI) And found that they have dimensions of 9/16 I.D X 3/4 in. O.D x 3/32 in wall. I looked around and was able to find some silicon grade on this site (http://www.theoringstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=367_104_108&products_id=4693) with the same dimensions. I was wondering what you guys thought and if the second link could be used to solve the loose o-ring issue.

It seems like a battery issue to me. but 4/20 was just recent.... as far as a battery seems to me. you might be "flat" dead as in you need like 12 hours of charging to make it come back on. Do you have a PA that you might be able to power it up with just to verify that everything is operational?

Theoringstore is who I bought my o-rings from. Those are the orings that I ordered. Instead, if you are in North America, PM me your address and I will send you a few in the mail.
Edit: Checked the bag and the name of the company I got them from was oringsandmore not theoringstore. Good thing it seems they are all the same as long as you get the right material/size etc. Either way, offer still stands.

Clouded I tried but it just keeps making the sound like its turning on and keeps doing it. Tried a few times and same thing occurs.
Sami while using it yesterday I still had plenty of juice since I had took it off the charger started to use and it just turned off. I cant keep it plugged in due to every few secs or so it will start with the turning on sound and it just wont stop..very annoying. Im also bummed knowing the unit isnt that old. Never been dropped, never near water or anything.

The F-bomb is worth it. Take the risk of getting it in india, 1000 rupees extra should clear that package from duties if anything. Ive ordered things while I was in Gujrat (worst couriers ever) and I got my stuff.

How many lights lit showing battery charge when you started your last session? Important question.
While it's a bummer for sure, it might well be the charger, not the Solo. Very few such Solo deaths (like none?) have been reported, but there was a rash of charger problems.
Consider the processor in the Solo is not dead (it does something, even if not what you want), but for whatever reason it's not charging when it should. Don't focus on not making vapor, I don't think that's the core issue here.
If it's a charger issue, sadly you're not the first by the cure is well known. If not, you're the first?
Again, what did 'the battery meter' say?

OF, I took it off the charger and got a session in. Was a little later and started another session and I believe lights showing were 5 or 6. About 2-3 mins in it just shut off. Turned back on worked for about 30 secs maybe or little less and shut off. Thought to myself to put it on charger and if I remember correctly from there it was at 3/4 working itself up on a charge. About a min in the charge it started to make turn on noise just over and over again. Now it just wont turn on(device it just makes the noise on startup then nothing) and when I put it on charger it makes noise over and over(shows blue light then 7 for a sec and again etc.)
No. After I charge I unplug the charger as well.

Thanks for the additional information. If you're confident of that "lights showing were 5 or 6" part the charger is most likely OK (not causing the charging problem) although otherwise I'd say it fits the symptoms. If that's the case (the battery is still well charged and the charger putting out normal voltage) you may have one of the few actual genuine Solo problems reported in these 700 pages? I believe the first not 'out of the box'? Not the sort of distinction a guy wants for sure.
Time, I'm afraid, to return it to where you got it?

And PV just rocks, they helped me a lot with my previous order..I imported Few stems , and they marked the pckg as kitchen utensil..it saved me a lot of money....so PV is gonna remain, only shop I visit to buy anything to do with vapes

I'm late 40s with some medical issues. Haven't really done any MJ for the last 20 yrs after some serious use in my teens and 20s. I knew I didn't really want to start doing Js and bong hits again and figured vaping was the best bet.
Did a lot of research here and bought a solo along with a couple Jyarz, an Ed's stem and a PVHES shorty turbo. Picked up some OG from SR and WOW is all I can say. First session I was fumbling around trying this and that not paying attention to how many hits I was taking and ended up totally baked on less than a half of a shorty bowl. Second session I decided to only take one hit and that got me plenty medicated.
At this point I'm thinking the SOLO is so efficient and mild that water isn't necessary. I don't think I'd bother bringing any additional gear, especially if I only need one hit. That may change if my tolerance increases. We'll see.
Anyhow...thanks FC community for the valuable info here.

i gave away my glass last weekend, maybe used it 5 times, i really didnt enjoy it the way i do the solo regular. Just made my toy harder to use.
