My m106 is refusing to heat properly and is displaying Drunken Light syndrome. Time for warranty, here's hoping it works as smoothly as it did in the past.
dos equis:I have now learned that vapor+water=insanely smooth. Thickest vapor clouds I have ever had and I could barely even notice the vapor. Get a GonG!
Get a SOLO OK!Hey guys, I've been patiently researching for a portable vaporizer in the $250 range. First, I wanted the Pax, then I wanted the Ascent, and now after much deliberation, I am leaning towards the Solo. My main reason for choosing the Solo is 1) The Air Flow & 2) The overall taste of the vapor.
Maybe someone can help me?
Best place to buy Arizer Solo
Best stem to use on Arizer Solo
Thanks a bunch!
Arizer warranties ebay solos. Seems to be a rumor that just wont die that you have to buy it from specific stores. What buying it from puffitup or PV allows you to do is ship the item to them for warranty service. PV and arizer are both in canada so it does not really help US people much. But if you buy from puffitup or ask a long standing ebay seller if they warranty the item then that lowers shipping cost if you should need warranty service. But either way arizer warranties the item and does not need to be from an authorized seller.Guys I bought myself another Solo, from eBay..seller claims that its latest 108model..and also states that warranty is available for this unit,,
Can anyone please tell me how to confirm all this???
The Solo seems to be one of the most reliable portable vapes out there.Leave it to Puffitup to honor the warranty on an open-box unit. Thanks so much Randy! Great customer service as always.
Interesting to note that after having 5 Solos going back to an m-102, only one ever had any sort of failure if we don't count the flaking ceramic issue which never strictly effected performance. The Solo is still my favorite portable vaporizer after years of ownership and I hope Arizer will give us an all-glass successor to compete with the upcoming Ascent.
yea I always warm my stem with the unit. I usually put it in right away and then start hitting it at 2 for those tasty tasty vapor hits. I will only turn it up to 4 to start. Then I'll hit it starting at 2 till it reaches 4. Then I hit it for awhile till the vapor production goes down then I turn it up to 6 and finish.I stick stem in @ 2 by the time it hits 5/6 I get visable vapor.
You could always pull the stem to stop it from cooking away.
Cool review.I love it so much I got 2 PVHES turbo comming to me and I plan to chop/polish them in to Super-taxian-style-chillins!!!!
I love the NANO!Hey ataxian, I see you have both a NANO and a SOLO. Which do you prefer and why? I have been looking at both of them for awhile now. People seem really happy with both.
Just wondering if the ABV from my Solo on the 7th temp setting should come out nearly black with very brown ABV throughout (dark golden on bottom). Its not ash but just really brown/black ABV, and not once did I taste combustion but it does this almost every time I go all the way up in temperatures

Many may disagree however I use the cheaper glass stock GonG.So many GONG options! Is there any general consensus on which is the best for water tools?
