I don't think its the charger... a wire was not connected inside when i disassembled. When i put battery in when i had them connected they just sizzled and one burned down slightly.. WTF?
Edit: ill try and post a pic later but its one of the wires within the rubbery clear casing toward the top of the unit, just below heating element and right above the battery chamber. It was coming out of the part of the circuit board labeled T2
I think you may have big troubles here. There are four wires from the heater. Two larger ones are the actual heater element (nichrome as a guess). I think labeled "H"? They have the larger connector and heavier wire leading to the circuits below. The other is the temperature sensor (thermistor I think), very low current, basically zero power. Therefore smaller connectors and wiring. Those wires should not burn up unless something else is wrong. If one overheated and disconnected itself and you reconnect it, it's going to overheat again unless you fix the underlying problem.....which is not a broken wire most likely.
It may be time to send it in?
