Thanks for the airpath responses, guys. My guess is that the airpath in the Solo is going along the ceramic element like the Q. Rockwise, do you know?
max said:$270 from Rockwise or Greatvape ('Solo' code), both authorized dealers, or $220.99 from vaporizerforweed.net (15% off sale). The units on Amazon all appear to be from the same seller, with no indication they're an authorized dealer. There's really no point in buying for full price.

Are you saying the code for both Rockwise for both Greatvape is "Solo"?
Also how can vaporizerforweed.net be selling that vape for $260? Won't they get in trouble with Arizer for the $220 price?
FLskwat said:It's not 100% all glass air path: as for the Q the air comes from the bottom of the unit, travels COLD through its guts (electronics, wires etc..) and gets in the bowl and stem, where IT IS HEATED... So yes 100% glass HOT air-path, not 100% glass air-path...Right?
Please correct me if I'm wrong 'cause I haven't disassembled the Solo but I can see 2 wires in the air intake holes below the unit.

Like smokecity said, the 'Solo' code is Greatvape's. The Rockwise code is listed where all FC discount info is located. And vaporizerforweed.net is listing a 15% off sale, thus the $220.99 price. If that seller is authorized (I doubt it), then Arizer may well object to the Solo being sold at the sale price. If they're not authorized, then warranty could be an issue. But as long as they can get the product, they're going to sell it for whatever price they want.King Lou said:max said:$270 from Rockwise or Greatvape ('Solo' code), both authorized dealers, or $220.99 from vaporizerforweed.net (15% off sale). This is a very fast-medicating device, especially for a portable. So if you need to get really medicated in a hurry, this thing will do the trick.
DeepFried said:This thing really packs a punch, at first I was worried the 12 minutes auto shut off timer would not be long enough to get medicated, but really you only need about half that.
Being too stoned to remember there's an auto shutoff and thinking your Solo is dead?pakalolo said:What am I missing?

The airpath is pretty simple:
Air enters the unit through the holes on the top, enters the heating chamber from below, and rises through the small holes in the bottom of the ceramic core when air is drawn through the glass aroma tube.
Unlike the EQ, the battery and circuitry are completely separated from the air path of the Solo. The air path is limited to the top 2" of the Solo, all the components are in the bottom section.
