My silver OG just gave up the ghost after four years of very heavy use as a first choice daily driver. Just got its replacement, another brand new silver OG with all fresh buttons, battery, everything - from PIU (asked for and got a free jyarz instead of the grinder, thanks PIU).
I have the blue Solo II, but missed the OG as soon as it stopped working. I am thinking of stashing another new one away for the day this one goes. They're so ingrained into my habits.

Amen, Brother! I'm with you there. Only for me it's love of the real OG version, the 'true PA' ones. I got several returns from PIU 'in the day', gave a couple of new vapers a solid low price vape (they were $60 to 80 IIRC) and have (I think) four total now (two originals, two returns). Plus one new model ('charge while using'). Two are out on loan, one in the 'bug out bag', one on the deck in routine use and one hidden away in the box as a full kit 'in case'.

Hopefully I have enough backups for the backups for this mission critical bit of gear. For sure that's my intent. I'm sleeping soundly at least.

A great product for sure. I don't want to risk being without one either.

The Solo OG with the vortex stem from planet vape in Canada has very low draw resistance, and now I am experiencing all of the updates since I my first one back around 2013. I can tell the difference right away with the new one. This new Solo OG seems to have more power - could be because its new and I was adjusted to the four year old unit, but I replaced the battery in the oldie just abit before it died. Draws off the new one are so easy and strong on setting 5, like the oldie on 6.
The Solo crowd is so mellow I love it, like Volkswagen beetle owners or something.

I use my OLD 6 year SOLO.
Thing will not die?

PHANTOM COOKIES + BENT STEM + LEVEL 4 = VERY CIVILIZED

My CANNABIS is kind of COURSE ground.

I will try a FINE grind just because it's Satruday?

Thanks I respect that, it is purely from a practical suggestion point of view and my own naive/innocent oversightedness. Understanding others is one of the most important things in my book, nothing is to be ashamed off or tabbooed especially in relation to a more purposeful understanding for all round benefit.

I'm really surprised how much this one measured dose has got me right now. It is only sugar leaf coconut oil, one of the 3 batches I made up recently. Just had a 3 gram dose (0.23 grams worth of leaves roughly) and very stoned!

Yesterday I had 8 grams in total- 2 in afternoon, 4 at 10pm, 2 more grams a little later.

Only about 0.6 grams of sugar leaves worth, but the way I make it is so potent for weight.:nod:

Folowed by 2 Omnivap bowls of sativa buds, that was good, VERY affected!

Right now I feel too stoned to vape anything, wish I had had a smaller dose now.:D

would 150 cdn taxes and shipping included for a solo be a good deal? I have the desktop arizer Q extreme and am happy with it although a bit harsh on the throat so thinking of trying something like the solo thru tweed and as a new customer get a discount reflecting the all in price of 149.16 Or would I be better with the solo 2 ?

As to Solo v Solo II, if you're on q budget you'll be very happy with the PG. If you're looking at a Solo II and can bump up costs a bit, I'd really recommend the crafty/Mighty. All depends on needs tho.
