I used my wives dish washer machine soap = Work's well!
@Buzzbomb Almighty I like BLUE as well. The PINK is nice to be a smart ass! We wore PINK board short's while surfing in HAWAII. (make a statement?) My chick was blonde so we matched!
Over shallow coral reef (pink has no gender).
@Dr. Soxhlet 1984 good read. I love ORWELL's book's. (ANIMAL FARM as well)!

When I read 1984 in school, the year 1984 was in the future. maybe the title should be changed to: 2084??

TH White began releasing parts of his epic Once and Future King before it was finished because he wanted the troops to have access to it before WW2 began.
Re 1984: I stood on the sidewalk and watched the workmen with the crane take down the sign on the building across the street that said Unemployment Centre and replace it with one reading Employment Centre. At the time I said, "It's here, 1984 is here, and it's a little early."
I wonder what some of that blue-ish plastic film some steel appliances come wrapped in would look like on a solo?
@ataxian Don't put your glass in the dishwasher... that explains a few things!

I think I had 40 Water pipes at one time?
I was a collector?

I wanted to show you guys this nice glass piece I bought from @Ed's TnT. I'm trying this out for the first time. It's the Atomic Flow Booster mouthpiece made especially for the Solo. It's a nice comfortable feel to your lips with the unique tip. Your draw produces some pretty big clouds. No restricted draw IMO. There are 4 notches on the end of the glass that sits in the oven and that allows for more airflow. I see my load gets evenly toasted, including me.:lol::leaf:Now Ed sells Arizer Solo and Air glass. I also bought a whip with a glass GonG. I haven't tried that out yet.

I have some GrapeApe in my Solo tonight. I don't know if it's my imagination but I feel more medicated. Is it the mouthpiece or the bud? Maybe both.:science:

Some Ol' Mendo Purp in the Solo tonight. The Atomic Flow Booster stem from @Ed's TnT is my fav stem for my Solo currently. You need to get one. I can tell if I drop this it will break easy. It produces some great vapor. I love the tip - I'm a sipper anyway. A fun and different way to deliver your meds.

I think nearly every Solo got used in the last 48hrs, and evaluated and pondered upon about possibly being replaced!

It looks like a big improvement in many areas, and it will be even more attractive than white NLE for some!
Looking forward to seeing the price, the black Solo 2, and what they do to Solo 1 now.

All these Solo 2 and white NLE would look great with a black stem too!

But Solo ii really?
Roman numeral for 1 I thought was lower case L as in "Solo ll "

Either way I'm thinking the NLE and Solo ll will have the newer NLE heating chamber with dimples.

Thanks very much. It seems there's no real (IMO significant) change? The body is oval rather than round, the display has changed/improved and it's not got a SS bottom and top plate. Otherwise:

"As far as the overall experience and vapor quality, the Solo II is almost exactly the same as the original Solo."

It uses the same stems, with the same basic oven. It will be interesting to see how useful the longer battery life is and how much faster the heat up is, both useful improvements but IMO Solo was OK in those areas already?

Seems to me like it's not going to obsolete the current model, no need to rush out and replace the unit serving you well? Mostly a repackage?

Basically no real experience yet I think. The above review quotes:

"The Solo II battery will last up to 3-hours on a single charge. More realistically you can expect well over 2-hours of battery life, at least that’s been my experience. "

I think a safe estimate of Solo is 8 sessions on fresh battery? 'A session per LED' with an extra one on the top? Times 12 minutes per is already 96 minutes, an hour and a half? I was thinking they'd stuffed the next size cells (25650?) in there but IIRC those guys are like twice the capacity of the 18650s Solo uses. Perhaps we're looking at improvements in insulation or upgrade of capacity of 30% or so. A change to 2800 or 3000mAh?

I think it would be better if it didn't use bigger (heavier) cells, Solo is already on the big/heavy side......

Still, the 'uses the same stems part is cool. No need for Ed to invent anything new, he can concentrate on making more instead.
