the Big Kahuna doesn't follow trends, he sets them.
If you look closely at the picture of the oven on the new whte Solo, it would appear that Arizer has countersunk the area around the holes in the heater to give better airflow. Getting better airflow without the cooler vapor caused by pulling the wand or modified glass might be a great improvement.I like what Arizer is trying to do with the Northern Lights Solo, I still use my old Solo daily at home even and really like the experience it offers even by today's more modern units.
But in the end, this is old tech at a high price. Maybe if they beefed up the batteries with better ones and offered a 430 degree temp for better concentrate use and maximum flower mileage.
My problem is I don't fit?If you look closely at the picture of the oven on the new whte Solo, it would appear that Arizer has countersunk the area around the holes in the heater to give better airflow. That's your message #420, time to start planning for 4 - 20.
I'm OLD SCHOOL / NEW SCHOOL
I will read it!You may like this, it's a rare window into the life of the Plains Indians.

I read online and printed books.
I had the same problem until 9th grade. One of my many faults, is that I cant read books...
I'm a smart person and I love learning, But I have a form of dyslexia that means when I look at blocks of text, the words fly out of the page and over my head...
I can manage broken text like on fc, or if a book has enough diagrams or pics to break things up... so I can manage science textbooks...
I will never enjoy the pleasure you receive from a book and your solo....
I like the BEEP sound off! (stealth)I've had my solo for a few months, but for various reasons, I've left it in the car overnight, this seems to have effected the battery a little, but my main concern is that it no longer beeps when it turns on and off. Has anyone else had that happen?
Thanks

@OF can get it back on for you.
He know's everything about the SOLO!!
OF your so anti-vain!Oh, no more than a hundred or so..... It's come up here a few dozen times, less on the Air thread (it uses the same system but is newer......). We hope that many more guys found the answer and didn't post?
The 'beep on/off' doesn't seem to be well documented. Power up, let it go to idle and before heating press and hold for 3 seconds or so the up button. You should hear a confirmation beep since it was off. Doing it again gives you conformation silence.....no, wait that doesn't work, best test it each time? Turn it off and see if you get a beep or not?
There's another 'secret feature' you might like to explore at that same point in the startup (at idle waiting for heat selection) this time press and hold the right (down) key, it should jump back to the last heat level you used.
Fiddle with it a bit, the key is holding the left button before selecting heat.
And don't worry about cold with Li-ions like in Solo. Full performance will return at normal temperatures and they can still 'put it out' cold when other types have cashed in.
You would.........
I hope I did just answer it, I sure don't know everything but I'm on a long run of lucky guesses at least?

I like it; at first I was looking at the MFLB because a friend said he got a cheap one off ebay, so I looked, bid on one and lost, then started reading reviews. I decided that I needed something a bit more robust, that would stand up to more volume than my friend needed. Also stealth wasn't as big a consideration for me as it is for him. After looking through reviews for less than an hour I decided to go Solo. I put Windows 7 and Vista stickers on mine, that's enough fluff for now.Best Bang for the $!

@OF don't you use a SOLO?
I need to keep studying. (fun)Guilty. I have two 'within reach', one with the WT adapter (wanna guess why?), one with straight stem and domed screen. Both loaded, capped and charged up. Ready to grab on the way out the door. What with the rain that means onto the (covered) patio where I can at least look at the garden.......
I don't really use them, they gladly deliver the goods time after time. Then again, I like to think I give them purpose, support and nice duty........it's more of a symbiotic relationship I think.
I'll have to ask the little voices next time they're by.
OF
The SOLO I use the most.
Maybe it just fits my pattern?
