I have several mouthpieces for the Solo and the Air. Some I received stock and others I've ordered through Planetvape, none of them fit exactly the same. You are going to probably find that out from most glass.
A bit of a wobble is not a problem for me, as long as it's not too far off.

Great insight!!! I seriously doubt they bought one from Canada with cheaper ones 'down the street'. If they got one like the counterfeit one I bought from DHGate the seal in question is entirely different. Where Air has a very stiff, short 3 rib seal (often mistaken for 'o-rings'), the counterfeit one has a much softer deeper seal, like a 'hose ring' from a garden hose. I can see how this oversight might lead them to think stems would fit differently?

Sounds like you're getting close. Some more practice and a little English on the stem and you'll be there.
There are some 'naturals' at this, like our Ataxian. Practice some more, if you still can't get it to shatter I suggest you PM him and ask him for a tip or two?

The Solo is one of my favorite portables, maybe even my fav. It's a great addition to anybody's vaporizer collection. It will last you many years. It can handle a fall, if that happens, so it's very sturdy. It's about the size of a can of Red Bull so it's not the smallest portable.
A very good decision for your health and your wallet. It doesn't use a lot of cannabis to get the job done.
A new Solo's battery lasts for 2+ hours depending on your temperature and other factors. It does degrade over time. My 2 Solos that I use still have about an hour left on the battery. I take care of both my units.
I make sure the batteries don't go down too low because that's hard on them. I also try to take my unit off the charger while the light is still blinking. So the key is to not over charge your battery for a longer life.

A solid choice IMO. Mine's coming up on 2 years now that I've used it nearly everyday, multiple times a day even, and showing no signs of slowing down. Meanwhile some other threads have people that have had to return 3, 4, even 5 units weeks or just a few short months of getting a new unit...

I was lucky beyond belief!
I have a very large inventory of weed I like however love is not used!
Today I found a jar of 4 month old GSC 1/8 about.
Loaded up my SOLO level 4 and a PHVES STEM.
GOOD that's how I feel.
I was going to buy another Portable however to waste $$ is stupid!
I have a problem?
Too much inventory of weed I'm tired of!
Time to re-load!

The temps for the newer version Solo ( within the last 2 years ). You know it's a newer version if you can use and charge at the same time. That is hard on the battery but use the Solo the way you want.
1) 122 F
2) 365 F
3) 374 F
4) 383 F
5) 393 F
6) 401 F
7) 410 F
Temp 5 is what I end on. I start at temp 3 sometimes and work up to 5. I would say 4 is my fav temp for flavor.
I do use a Vortex stem on occasion especially made for the Solo. You can bump your heat up and the taste isn't as harsh. The Vortex stem cools the vapor.
Smoking a pipe would be considered combustion, the Solo doesn't go high enough.
If you want the harshness of smoking temp 7 would be that, but you wouldn't combust. You would use too much product. I save temp 7 for water filtration.

Depends on how you're using the solo, using a shorter stem of course the heat will be more intense but with a gong through glass of a j-hook the vapor is very manageable. Using a J-Hook at 3-4 has been my go-to for flavor chasing lately, vapors not too warm and you really taste the terps.
Got some Tragic (trainwreck x magic) that's very pungent, it's almost a shame to run it through water so I always sneak in some low temp hits to appreciate the taste profile.

Damn man I want the pinnacle water tool in the worst way. Use the solo mostly but roommate has the air. Looks like it would work very well, it just makes me frustrated to have to buy 14mm gong after investing in 2 18mms already. Especially after investing in an evo hydra bomb lol

The F Bomb through Planetvape is similar to the Pinnacle Pro Micro Shower Tool and it comes in either the 14 and 18mm sizes its around $100. With the water tube style wt you have to be cautious not to dribble water into your vaporizer - don't overfill.

Two thoughts. First the plastic top Air stem fits 14mm connectors (and Solo) and is ten bucks.
Secondly, you might want to check out DHGate. You can get 'knockoffs' of the PWT in both 14 and 18mm sizes under $20 IIRC.

I ordered the PV F-bomb with gong.While my gong rarely leaves my sight I'd be hard pressed to tell you where the F-bomb is right now. My DH Gate knockoffs are shorter and squatter, but the glass is thick and they are sturdy, mine have had all manner of falls, a move, a vacation, and keep on going. My F-bomb is very well made, but the glass is thinner enough that I worry about breakage.
