My Solo rips really well and uses next to nothing, but seems like my battery life ain't that great i get 7-8 12 minute cycles I think, or about 1.5-2 hours of use max, closer to 1.5.. I'm usually starting at 4, ending at 6-7. Maybe I didn't leave it plugged in long enough when I got it the first time, oh well

Depending on how much you're hitting it that's about normal I think. Hitting it is a huge variable, you might get several more (or less) sessions from the exact same Solo as I do.

I suggest running a different test, without the human factor. Charge it fully, then run back to back session with no stem until it fails to light a single 'battery level light' (all the way to the end of the scale, but not to where it locks out). 8 sessions or more is a good battery IMO. When you pass 8 it's starting to fade and you should start thinking of how to deal with that.

7-8 full cycles is what I got when mine was new. Sounds pretty normal, what with the "1 session per LED" guideline.

Ahhh okay cool thanks guys, no big deal I was just worried I had harmed the battery haha. I will just plug it in between sessions and perhaps try sticking to lower temps for a week to see how they affect the battery life, i just love thick clouds too much lol.

This thing is ridiculously efficient though, I put in maybe 0.1g and it just keeps going and going

Seems about right, lower temps=longer battery run time.
High temps does use more power
I never use the high temps dry, only with water

My 2 Solos are about 1 week old.
I recently started using them starting at level 3 and ending on four.
I noticed you do get more sessions that way.
The other bonus is you don't have to wait as long to reach the set temperature.
And the improvement in taste....don't even get me started!!

I have to say it's a pretty steady cloud-machine! Very good session with very small!
Imo, in a log-vape style ! I like this!
Next time, I will be careful and not grinding to fine because of the small particules who climb in the stem!
Next time, I will put a screen, a must-have may be?

I always use screens. With properly ground and dried material you can start as low as 2, which I usually do. The taste is amazing and then you still have 3-7 to get through!

Try a full nug, keeps the stems nice and clean.
Or crumble a well dried nug in your fingers and enjoy the lovely scents.

I agree with you guys...im a lvl 3-4 guy 5 the highest. IMO 4 is the perfect sweet spot. Clouds and flavor best of both worlds.


@Aezhenn funny you say that, the solo was reminding me of log vapes I see on youtube and hear about on here (style and build) So i went and ordered an underdog. The one they have on sale is roughly the same price as a solo. Pumped to try it out and compare

Perhaps that could be why I seem higher starting on 3. Less CBD released at that temperature, so less modulation effect on the THC; so it seems stronger.
And lower temperatures may be a little healthier?

Though when the gong arrives and I put it through water higher temps are a must to achieve the big hits ?

I would say someone who only vapes on lvl 4 may keep healthier lungs than someone who only vapes on lvl7

I got a wierd burnt funky taste using my solo with my big waterpipe today. Its happened to me about.....1 out of 50 sessions but it does happen. I always look in the chamber and make sure everything is in kahoots and theres nothing in there. Idk why sometimes i get this harsh gross taste that ruins my session and wastes my bud

I thought you needed to crank the heat too for water, but I've found that running on 4 for session one and 4-5 for session two (depending on how quickly I restart) still gets me where I need to be. In fact, I just finished a bowl that I'd ran through twice at 4 back to back, then went off and did other stuff and came back and went to five- and got interrupted, so I came back and went to 5 again, and still had vapor all the way through. This post has taken me years to write, lol.

I have the Solo m1a model & for some reason it has been acting up lately. Doesn't produce as much vapor, makes the material brown faster, I was having a real hard time even shutting this thing off. The blue idle light kept blinking and it wouldn't turn off. What does this mean? Can someone give me any suggestion? Do I need to reset it? If so how can i reset it?

Right now I can't even turn it back on! Every time I try to turn it back on I see the blue idle light flashing Does this mean my Solo is done?
