I bought my Solo from myrubberneck on ebay. Worked for about a year and quit. Sent it in for a warranty replacement. I would say they are trustworthy.

Hi. Yes, the glass stem/pipe. How often would you say you clean it? Every 3-4 months?

Some like to let it turn brown with resins?
Some make a hot chocolate treat by dipping the dirty stem?

If I see any sign of brown I clean.

Once a month is enough actually.
1/2" stainless steel screens I change monthly.
I bought 500 3 years ago for $10 on ebay and have 50 left.
I was changing them way to frequently!

It depends on how much you use it! Personally I like to scrape my stems out every eighth of an ounce or so. Sometimes I get more than an eighth of a strain and will clean it when I am done with the strain. Some materials are more resinous!

As others have mentioned , there are a few variables .
Like how often you use it , Daily or only on weekends ...
What temp you use it . If you're strictly a low temp sipper
Higher temps produces resins faster , I find . Dry herbs or damp .
What you use , flowers , hash , concentrates has a factor in this .
Do you use a screen to keep the debris from getting sucked up .
Even your inhales , hard or slow . Like when you use a bubbler .
The bubbler is my main cause for cleaning stems/gongs .
But it's all up to you , what you deem is dirty or not ...

Hey Poonman,
Generally, I use it every night.
- 1 bowl.
- Start on setting "4". But after 5-10 minutes, I go up to "5-7" to finish it off.
- Regular dry herb.
Just want to say thanks again to everyone who provided their answers. From what I gather, cleaning this 1x a month (based on my casual usage) is more than enough.

Ataxian, If you only have 1 working Solo are you looking to buy another one? Hopefully there will be some sales closer to Xmas. Maybe there will be another "out of the box" sale. Your Solo looks happy too. It has a smile the way the light shines on it.

I use the SOLO the most.
Right now in fact I'm excusly using it!
Medical wise I have to stay with what works. When I get it all figured out I will get more vaporizers!
For right now the SOLO is my driver!

I love LA Confidential. I have so many favs. Since May I've been like a kid in a toy store with all the choices at the dispensaries.
I enjoy the @Pipes stand for the Solo too. It helps to protect the bottom and it's nice to charge the unit standing up. It's easy to use and charge at the same time while using the stand. I don't do that all that often though. I'm trying to be easy on the battery. I try to make sure I take my Solo off the charge before the green light stops flashing, it's easy to forget it on the charger.

I'm doing a special project and when its done I will get more vaporizers. Right now the ones I have are very powerful and I sold a couple of really good ones. The SOLO I have the old one. I think I'll get a second one of the latest model!

Hi all this is my first post on FC i didnt see an intro thread but have just got me a Solo, i already own the Arizer extreme q and found it hard to change from smoking to vapeing but ive had over a year off, given up the smokes and dont want to inhale combustion any more so i hope this time i stick to it. I read so much on portables and decided after trawling through the reviews the solo is my vape, i needed something that was way smaller, didnt need a power socket and could be well hidden, the solo ticks all thoes boxes for me. What i would really like to know being a glass fiend, are any glass artists making custom heady mouth pieces for the solo? Ive seen the gog fitting and want one but cant find them in stock any place. Anyways look forward to reading though the forum and seeing this tread grow

yea you need to buy 10 minimum from them so you "could" buy 10 and just bin them as they die LOL tho it would be cool to get one, strip it apart and do a comparison to see what its guts look like, What shits me its a clone even the name, im all up for copies of items that are expensive, good way to look cool with the latest without spending big but rename it, call it the Airzee Holo or something not clone it down to the name, but my fear is that someone will buy them and sell them off as real at double the price and rip people off, the same seller had the extreme q as well

Make sure you buy a Solo at an authorized vendor or your warranty will be worthless. Go with Puffitup they will price match I'm told. The price is $160 with free shipping and free shipping returns.

i will contact Arizer to confirm its real but i dont doubt it, the only bas thing i could find about em was that when they started selling in New Zealand some other seller out there claimed that the items were fake, i assume to dirty the name of namestvapes and not loos business, all the reviews i read were good, even hear on FC the people who bought from them didnt have anything bad to say and when they queried the manufactures no one had a knock off

Well its on its way lol so i will see when i get it on 3-5 days, Just got a message from JoDa about the gog fitting. I did choose it because it was so simple no lcd to mess with and only 2 buttons, the batteries inside are just 18650's used in those vape pens and mods and i have the extreme q so what better companion. Once it comes in first thing i will be doing is contacting Arizer just to set my mind at ease that the sn# is the real deal.
PS $160usd is close to $185aud and shipping is $46aud so $230aud and add 8% paypal fee and im almost $250 and there is always the danger of lost/damaged parcels so local was the best way to go given there are glass parts, I paid $220aud for it on sale

I guess I'm having a tough time figuring why they would go to all the trouble to make a counterfeit only to tip potential buyers off at the end. They sure don't label those fake Rolex watches they've made 'over there' for decades 'Timex' or 'Chen Watch Works'. Likewise the counterfeit Microsoft software they sell is labeled 'correctly' right down to the phony hologram on the package. You don't counterfeit dollar bills and put your photo (or the dog's) on the bills instead of the dead president used on the original......that's the whole idea.
And no, this is not a copyright violation in China. The government there just doesn't care about the rights of a Canadian company. They have the same view of Patents as well...... From over there they just don't care about over here?
Buyer beware. As CK says, buy from an honest source. On principle if not for the assurance of warranty support and quality/safety of the product? I don't know about you but I want Arizer to get all the profit from Solo they are due, I want them to be encouraged to take the risk with the next new product for the market place. More choices for us. Those stealing those profits will never make a new product for us, they are in a way our enemy as consumers. IMO this is something we should not support, even if the price is attractive.
