Arizer Solo II

I have dropped a solo stem out of a car window onto concrete. I have never broken a solo stem in years. Years and years.

Not to worry, we can help you here. Well at least one of us can. @ataxian is our go to guy in breaking glass. World class. He can break glass at your house by looking at a photo of it at his.

PM him, he's got lots of tips that don't need cars or concrete. He can drop a stem on a freshly mowed lawn and find a strategic rock, just the right size and location, the lawnmower has been missing. Truly charmed.

No charge for advice, either.

I do break glass more than most!
GonG's I gave up on and use my portable dry.

If it plug's I have a glass path.

50 - 30 = 20 piece's of glass.
30 trashed

One day I get a SOLO 2

However let me do some VOODOO on your glass.
Breaking glass is what I do!

I have a stem taped together I use while gardening!

You're far too modest.

I have it on good authority that @ataxian gets fan mail from novice glass breakers. Kind of a role model. Some say he's a natural you know. Breaks more glass on a 3 day weekend than the average Rabbi in a lifetime of weddings.

I hear he's the only sinner not welcome in the Crystal Cathedral, which seems strange and logical at the same time......... Rumor has it they have security guards posted to keep him out of the parking lot even. Not confirmed and frankly seems a bit far fetched to me, but then again maybe they know him? Those folks got a lotta glass......

Proud to say I have never broken an Arizer stem. I've dropped many, but th6e always seem to land safely.

I still have the original stem that came with my Solo I years ago, and the original PVHES stem I purchased to help with the air flow.

I destroyed 4, maybe 5, PVHES stems wrestling them into my Solo II but I dont count those.

Never the less, I have 6 stock Arizer Solo II stems (all lengths) in storage and another 3 PVHES (2 turbo and 1 vortex) for "just in case" moments.

The battery on my Solo 2 seems to be holding up really well. It doesn't look like it has degraded much since June, that's when I bought it. I did wait and go with @PuffItUp rather than going with Arizer itself even though I wanted to order from day one. I live in the U.S so shipping is a couple days faster.

I go with Randy from @PuffItUp because I know I get super fast shipping and I can talk to them on the phone if I need assistance or any questions asked.

I do use the Solo on most days but not everyday. I have mine programmed for a 15 min session.

I also have my units set to 15 minutes. Both my Solo II and Air II.

All of my units have held up well after my old Solos. Those old Solo batteries shot out quickly on me for some reason.

EDIT: Initial thoughts, I love it! Vapor production is nice and I like the look of it with my black stem. Makes the unit look sleek.

Rather than paying top dollar for things that may not fit a Solo II I suggest that you check out these items from @PuffItUp http://www.puffitup.com/Arizer-Air-Solo-H2O-Filtration-Stem-p/qtqc.solo-bubb.htm
and http://www.puffitup.com/Arizer-Air-Solo-Airflow-Stem-p/qtqc.solo-stem_s-clea.htm

I have two of each and had no problem with using any of them in the Solo II.

Just a dude
^agree that looks proper together like that. And somehow more stealthy? Using my Solo 2 in the city a few days ago and I thought "I really really want/need a black stem. Maybe just the short one, maybe both!" I think it's more e-cig mod with the black stem.

Like @CarolKing I have been very happy with my battery life both when using it and when it's been sitting with an 80% charge for days. I pick it up and there's the smiley face! Anyway that's my report from the field. Ridiculous how few times I've actually charged it, really. I realize how spoiled we Solo 2 users are when reading about other battery-powered vapes and someone says "I get 3-5 sessions per charge."

And then I thank the stars above for OF, Carol, ataxian and all the others here who vouched for Arizer and their vapes. They weren't wrong, I've been very pleased at the results temp-stepping right on up into the higher range if that's what I'm looking for. Thanks Arizer!

Solo 2 vs Air 2 pros cons?

Air 2 pros: interchangeable battery, ability to keep multiple batteries charged for continuous use. Smaller, lighter, more compact.

Cons: Just a little taller. Just a bit less vapor production than Solo 2.

Solo 2 pros: Huge battery, big hits. Makes me choke on the 3rd or 4th hit. Air 2 it's 5th or 6th.

Cons: No interchangeable battery option, kinda big, basically the same price as Air 2 making it a touch decision. I like both, but I'm using the Solo II more because it fits my needs better.

I have never broken a stem (four years) but now that I said that they're all marked. Its all home use so that might not really count.

My Solo II battery is holding up rock steady as new and I have been using it everyday now for a few months.

Best way to do hash oil for me (in both units) is to mix it in with some ground flowers and vape away - about .16 grams of flower and .03 mils of hash oil from the local dispensary. Puts me to sleep at night, every time.
