Arizer Solo II

@PuffItUp should be getting there's in a couple weeks and they ship internationally and are an excellent online store to do business with. Arizer is selling the Solo 2 now and they ship internationally.

I find if there are any issues PIU usually responds quicker than any other store I've dealt with. Even when dealing through Arizer. Shipping back is usually quicker.

Since I have the Air and the original Solo I want to own all three. The restricted airflow isn't an issues for me anyway since I use the higher efficiency airflow stems.

I'm interested in the comparison between the older model Solo and the Solo 2. Can't wait to get the discussion going.

I owned a solo for 4+ years and loved it. The Solo 2 has improved on an already great Solo 1; a much quicker heat up time, less draw restriction, much better battery life, display, able to select desired temp,
slimmer in size, stems fit nice and snug too. Only had the Solo 2 for 5 days so I'm still trying to find my sweet spot and perfect my technique.
Cheers!

Do you guys find a temperature controlled conduction vape allows you to control your desired effects the same way a temp controlled convection vape does? I really like being able to lightly roast an indica to obtain sativa like effects this way.

Am I seeing things or did this man's Solo II actually have a SN on the vape... one that he didn't put on himself like @ShayWhiteGrow.

My first view noticed (or imagined) what looked like the SN just a little after 7 minutes into the video.

Guys think some basil leaves would work in the aromatherapy dish? I have no extract .. just a ton of basil. I could dry out with some lights if needed ... any idea what temp would be needed for basil if it's possible?

Edit: found 130c as Basil vaping temp

That one on the unit? That's the temporary one. The one on the box is the one you want (and more likely need) when the unit one wears off:brow: The box one is "unwipeable"

Could be a sticker too?

Good luck man, I never found the aromatherapy dish useful even at max temp...always thought it was just a stealth thing to label it an "aromatherapy device". Maybe if you use it in a small closet or something :brow:

Love basil....

Why Arizer didn't have the S/N engraved on the bottom of the unit???

While I think they'd prefer something like 'thrifty' instead, I suspect they didn't engrave a S/N on Solo II for the same reason they didn't do so with the original Solo and Air. Repeating that, Solo and Air have S/Ns on STICKERS on their bases? No engraving.

They are not required to assign numbers on their vapes any more than any other maker is (many of which don't have S/Ns at all?). There are a few products (like firearms, motor vehicles and so on) that are required to have them, and those requirements can be specific and demanding, but this is purely voluntary. Mostly for warranty and QC. I've worked at places that put dates, not S/Ns on products. In one case that meant 1500 lights per day shared the same identifying numbers. Most packaged food is done this way, lot numbers and production dates.

@OF I was just joking  Clearly Arizer has gone above and beyond with the Solo 2!

Of course you were, and while I haven't seen one I think it's safe to say they have (again). Solid, trouble free products seem the norm with Arizer? I was also poking fun as well, few past Boy Scouts strive to be thrifty these days? And not as many of them as before. Sadly fewer still the value the 'brave, clean, and reverent' part. 'Getting over' has replaced that in a lot of cases........

Thanks for setting the record straight. This here internet can cause guys to not communicate too well.....I'll try to remember to bring that up with Al Gore if I ever get the chance.

Regards to all. Not only those with new Solo IIs, but also those of us biding our time and those who for whatever reason will never own one but wish they did?

My new II arrived a couple of days ago and I've been giving it a test drive. A lot of people are waiting for "in the wild" reviews so I thought I'd say a few words.

I have an original Solo and an Air, both of which have been used a lot. I've never liked to make vape recommendations because this kind of thing is so personal but I'm really REALLY comfortable saying that if you like the original Solo, you're going to love the II.

It looks great and feels great in your hand. Still very solid and well built. Much faster heat up. OLED is easily readable and informative. Your PVHES fits well and works great. Easier draw than the original. Not wide open but easier. Stem does not jiggle around...nice and firm once in place. No need to pull the stem out just a little for better airflow. It draws just fine with the stem fully inserted. You can expect the same efficiency, flavor and ridiculously easy cleanup.

Looks like my original Solo and Air just got pulled out of the rotation permanently. This thing is very cool. Quite an improvement.
